Well explained!!!
As we all know, Human Brain is the most complex as well as the most beautiful machine in the Human body. Yes I call it a machine, as after reading this book I realized how complicated its wiring is, but Abhijeet Satani has simplified this complex structure so well in this book that every person can read and understand it. This book not only deals with the parts of brain, but also the disorders caused by any medical condition. My personal favorite portion was chapter 12 that deals with stress, as it is the most talked about topic nowadays causing depression, anxiety, etc. It was a delight to read how brain tackles situations like stress and fear, and it made me more aware that stress, anxiety and depression does affect a person in many different ways. “A simple approach to neuroscience” is the perfect book especially for the NEET aspirants as well as new medicos who are starting their journey in the medical world, to understand the human brain and nervous system easily. As the book is divided into 18 chapters, covering most of the basics as each chapter dealing with one portion at a time makes the understanding all the more easy. It is a good read and really very hepful and worth buying.

Our entire view of universe depends on it "-Francis CraigAs the title suggests itself, the book is all about Neuroscience and its simple approach towards brain science. However, there are few medical terms which might look a bit scary and difficult to grasp at first sight but the explanations are so well described therefore, the difficulty won't stick for long. The title is absolutely apt for the book. The cover page is suitable. Writing style is quite engaging and the concept is splendidly demonstrated. I'll rate the book 4 / 5.P.S. Chapter 12 is my favorite ❤

Brain is a man's s treasure.
Brain is the most essential part for a human body to function. Everything that the human body promises to exist and work from starts from the brain and also ends with the brain. The Central Nervous system starts from the brain and apart from being the seat of intelligence and memory the brain consists of two essential parts the left side and the right side that consists of the Grey Matter. This book has simplified concepts from the cerebrum to the cerebellum to the meninges and how our brain helps in conducting our voluntary and involuntary actions for our body to function properly. The book resembles a very basic biology lesson and that has to be read by all. The study relating to brain is Neuroscience and so this book becomes a tool for medical students as well. The book has also discussed how sleep cycles are important to keep the brain functioning and healthy therefore this book has become the best work in the world of medical science and non- fiction reads.

Interesting
You love Science or hate Science? This actually doesn't matter when you pick this book by Abhijeet Satani. Though, if you are not a person who belongs to Science Stream, you can have a look on this book which is written in the language of Hoi Polloi. I took exactly Three days to finish it, because of not having a good connection with science. The Book comprises of Eighteen Chapters, but believe me it was not at all difficult to finish it in the 3 days time. The Author started the book with the quote by the famous Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw :"No diet will remove all the fat from your body, because the brain is entirely fat. Without a brain, you might look good, but all you could do is run for public office."As we all know, that, Human Brain involves a very complex structure, and a complex organ with a complex functioning. In the initial chapters, the Writer has written about the anatomy of brain, the cell structure of brain etc. After, acquainting the readers about the anatomy of the brain, the Writer moves further onto the general topics of Stress, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, Migraine, Alzheimer,Schizophrenia and many more brain disorders. As me, myself suffers from recurrent Migraine very often, so, this made me to know more about, what actually goes in my brain, because of which I encounter such miserable pain! It's interesting to know about how your brain actually works. Which part of your Brain arises the pain, emotions, sleep etc, is the compelling part for me! If you are from Neuroscience field, this will help you thoroughly.I would like to recommend this book more to the Science Stream people, since this will help them to understand the whole anatomy in a much more easier way. The Writer has used several colorful diagrams too, on some of the pages, which will help you to get more of the book.Pages - 157Language - Easy to comprehend. My Rating- 3.5 Stars
