GOOD STUFF BUT...
This works well and is worth the money. I use it on the neighborhood strays that come around all beat up from fighting and their wounds definitely look better and heal faster when I put this on them. The only problem with it is that as a spray it's very difficult to use, particularly on cats. It likes to sit on top of their fur instead of getting down to the wound itself and simply trying to hold the cat still to use it is an exercise in frustration. It would be better if it came with just a cap so you could dip a Q-tip into it and brush the stuff on instead, especially around their eyes and mouth. You can still do that, but the spray tube is sticky and picks up gunk if you set it down on something. Keep it shook up because the gel likes to collect around the neck of the bottle if you don't and it can get pretty thick.

Absolutly a must have!
If I could give this a million stars it has earned every one. We were about to start our family camping trip which includes kids, 1 cat, 2 dogs when we saw a cat with a wound. All of us tried catching this elusive kitty. On day one knowing it would probably die if we didn't do something for it, I just sat outside bring food closer and closer. There is a collar on and homes near by so we know it belongs to someone. We had this purchased 3 bottles of this product for a paw pad crack on our dog which healed the pad in no time at all. Only needed a few sprays. So as this cat would walk by we saw this horrific wound in need of a vet bad. Never being able to pet her, we would put food on the picnic table for her infront of a box hiding her vision of us and leaving her hind end in the open. We got a dropper (because the pump sprayer it comes with would scar her off) and filled the dropper and super quickly soaked the wound. She poked her head up looked around and continued to eat so it did not sting her booboo at all. We did this for the 7 days as many times a day as we could. It went from the size of 2 silver dollar coins to less than a dime in the week. We extended our stay trying to catch her but it was not happening. We talked to the campground staff and they said it was an elderly couples cat who live there. We knocked on their door and asked. They said oh yes she comes and goes as she wants and showed us all the pics they have with her. So we gave them the rest of the opened bottle and an extra unopened one of this product along with the dropper to soak the area including inside the wound. Shortly after meeting the couple, sure enough here comes miss kitty. She walked right into the house, lol. We laughed on how much food she scammed from us but she got help also. It taught the kids kindness to other people's animals. We explained about the size the wound was and how great it looks now and they were so grateful for us helping her. She was our guest taking our treats and head amazingly well. This item is a must have in a pets household. We are wonderfully thankful for a painless item that literally works. It smells a bit of antiseptic. We will always have this in the house now. Thank you thank you thank you for helping an animal in need.

Veteran Wound Care Spray (This contains Hypochlorous acid not hydrochloric acid
First of all this is Hypochlorous acid not hydrochloric acid (bleach) as reported by several people in the one star ratings. It is a safe, non-toxic, and gentle antimicrobial spray used in many vet clinics. My vet told me about it. I used it on my somewhat feral cat for chin acne. It took about a week but the chin acne is clearing up. This cat actually let me wipe his chin with a cotton ball with the product on it. He acts like it is soothing and feels good. I highly recommend it. I am currently using it on a partially healed abscess that he keeps scraping. Iโll update with results.

Works very well, but could you make a balm or foam too?
Works very well, I have 2 cats, sadly both hate the spray, but one will tolerate as it seems to soothe his skin. Their allergies are horrible this year, scabs n hair loss all over, the first time I used this though, it helped immensely. First product I've found that heals an their coat is SO soft. Just wish I could use it without holding the older cat in place like I'm torturing her.

It works & my vet approved it
This helped clean out my cat's wound and helped him heal pretty quickly. He had a bad wound on the back of his neck that was oozing and after cleaning it with this by the next day he wasn't even oozing anymore. I brought this to the vet to show him what I was using and he said that was good so it was vet approved. It didn't hurt him or bother him when spraying it on either, I did clean it with that and then I also bought their hydrogel and sprayed that on top of it to help protect it and stop him from itching and that combination worked very very well for him. This is definitely worth it and nice to have on the shelf.
