This is the second one I have bought. The original is still going strong after many years, but I had a voucher to use so I bought this newer model. I have given my original one to my son. It’s light, efficient, very manoeuverable and the foot is slim making it accessible for reaching under furniture.The brush attachment is excellent for upholstery. Suitable for both carpet and hard surfaces. I would recommend for these qualities, durability and value for money.

Best Hoover in the market, light weight but powerful. Easy to clean.

I bought this as I needed next day delivery after my shark lift away blew up (literally!). In terms of suction it seems to pick up well but not to the same standard as my shark did, the suction on that made the hoover actually difficult to push (I have low pile carpet). I really didn't like my shark as it seemed like such a chore pushing the big heavy monstrosity around. For this reason this hoover makes a nice change. It's an actual dream to move around, it's lightweight and seems to pick up well. It actually picks up better on hard floors than my shark. I use the pet tool on my stairs and it's wonderful. The only downside to this hoover is the hose. It's really short and the release is at the bottom of the hoover making the hoover slightly unstable as you use it. (A man must have designed this!). That being said, the short hose is a small compromise considering how lovely this hoover is to move around. Bargain price on next day delivery, would definitely recommend

Really happy with this product. I use it everyday around the house and have had no issues. There is a carpet mode and a hard floor mode which is easily adjustable, and a detachable pipe. The pipe however isn’t very long so when hoovering stairs I do have to take the vacuum with me, rather than standing it at the top or the bottom, however I don’t find this to be an issue as the vacuum is super lightweight. Great suction and power and easy to empty. Would highly recommend.

I am absolutely delighted with this hoover. I'm the sort of person who takes a while to make a choice, fearing I'll be disappointed. I'm definitely not with this. It's easy to move, it gives a lovely finish to the carpet pile, the stair mini hoover is brilliant. I have previously struggled hoovering the stairs with previous hoovers. The mini tool makes it so easy and suction is great, albeit you are still carrying the hoover with you as you go. For the fraction of the price of a shark, it's performance is great. I previously had Dysons and it's better.

The dust container is large and lasts me a while before emptying. Emptying the container is easy and doesn't cause any mess. The claw tool with rotating brush is nice and powerful for doing my bed which is always covered with pet hair. It's quite light for my broken back and not a problem to push/pull or carry around. I love the look of it and the colours. The only downside with this Hoover is the length of the hose when using attachments, it's rather short and because of the lightness of the vacuum, it will fall over unless you steady it while using the extension and attachments. I also tried a Hoover Upright 500 Pets and that was too heavy for me and I preferred the look of this one.

I HAVE NOW HAD 3 OF THESE VACUUMS, YES THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT, YES THE SUCTION IS EXCELLENT BUT ALL 3 HAVE NOW LIST THE TINY WHITE PLASTIC CLIP THAT ATTACHES THE HOSE TO THE MACHINE. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE ONCE THEY CLIP SNSIS OFF YOU CANNOT USE THE HOOVER BECAUSE THE FORCE OFF THE VACUUM PUSHES THE HOSE BACK OUT SO IN ORDER TO USE IT I HAVE WRAPPED ELECTRICIAN TAPE AROUND IT TO KEEP IT ATTACHED BUT OFF COURSE THAT MEANS I CANNOT USE THE ATTACHMENTS!! ITS SO SAD BECAUSE THIS IS A BRILLIANT VACUUM. easy to assemble and I have the attention span of a fruit fly so this is perfect! Quiet, it purrs. Powerful, amazing suction, easy to use attachments and so light, I totally love this bit of kit and would not hesitate to buy another one! 5 MONTHS ON AND I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS VACUUM. THE SUCTION HOSE ATTACHES ITSELF TO THE CLEANING HEAD WITH A VERY FLIMSY CLIP, THE ABOVE PHOTO IS OF THE TINY BIT OF PLASTIC WHICH HAS BROKEN (IT WORKS INSIDE THE CLIP AS A TINY LEVER) AND NOW MEANS THAT THE HOOVER NO LONGER WORKS BECAUSE WITHOUT THE FLIMSY CLIP SECURING THE HOSE IN PLACE THE FORCE IF THE (EXCELLENT) SUCTION BLOWS THE HOSE OUT SO YOU CANNOT USE IT!! HOWEVER, I'VE MANAGED TO FIX IT WITH STRONG GLUE AND ELECTRICAL TAPE BUT THIS HAS TO BE A PERMANENT FIXTURE WHICH MEANS I CANNOT USE ANY OF THE TOOLS!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH HOOVER!!!

I was happy with this product though I did think it didn't seem very sturdy. Today, just six days out of warranty the clip that holds the hose into place lost its tension and no longer works. I contacted Candy (Hoover) but was told that there was nothing they could do as the item was out of warranty. I would say that the Hoover has been cheaply made and has proved not fit for purpose. I'm disappointed and wouldn't recommend this product. In addition Amazon agreed to refund the cost but I have now been cut off, after nearly an hour of faffing about, with no further information about how to do this so now have to start all over again. I suggest that you do not buy large items from Amazon.
