LAURA GELLER Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation – Golden Medium

Yes, we see Laura Geller everywhere. Therefore, with a 30% discount for Prime Days I ordered Baked Balance-n-Brighten. If I wasn't happy, I could return it. I tested the powder on a small area to make sure I wasn't sensitive. I could not believe what I was seeing. I used it all over my face. I have really bad skin; acne scars, broken blood vessels, large pores and most foundations and powders burn and/or itch. I also have freckles that I love and wrinkles that I earned. Once my entire face was covered, I was so impressed. The color was perfect, the coverage was amazing, the texture was smooth and flattering. I ran to my computer to order another at the Prime Day discount. My freckles were visible; my wrinkles were smooth and not cakey looking. My pores were less visible, and the blood vessels were hidden. The was no itching or burning. I have mild psoriasis above my eyebrows and even that area looked great. It was 9 pm EDT on the last day of Prime Days and I bought a second one at the discounted price. I am blown away; every claim Laura Geller makes in her advertising is real.

What a wonderful powder foundation!! It provides a light full coverage, and is actually good for your skin too!! Amazing how it changes to your exact skin tone. I plan on getting another one shade darker for those weeks I plan on spending out in the sunshine!! I think Amazon should send me a free application brush with this next purchase… Hint hint

I love this product so much I bought two more just to have on hand. I have never had such an exquisite product and it lasts forever. The coverage is amazing at the same time sheer...it feels so good and goes on so well. I am a forever customer!! I have shared this with my friends and now I feel so good because they are so very pleased.

I like this product, but it oxidises in humid temperatures. I usually wear cover fx G40 .. so I chose golden medium but after a while I look 2-3 shades darker. I will try medium next time. Other than that it covers really nicely. It can look a bit cakey but with setting spray it looks flawless!

I bought light, medium, and this golden medium. It’s a richer warmer color than the medium, but it’s mixed during shoulder weather especially fall to winter. My skin is mature combination olive toned with slight redness (aging I guess) but this baked powder lessens the unevenness of my experienced (lol) skin. I rarely wear makeup these days so when I do, it’s this powder foundation that isn’t powdery dry or settling into my wrinkles. Nice little moon mirror in the compact lid.

I really expected to love this from all the hype I had seen about it. Light feel and light coverage. By no means full coverage, but nice. I’m about halfway thru my compact and the powder has congealed into a hard solid and is no longer powder. May have been exposed to heat but at this point it’s not even usable anymore. I may be able to crush it and use it? Not sure I would repurchase.

Great for mature skin. Blends in nicely. Well worth the price.

Ich benutze seit Jahren Baked Balance-N-Brighten von Laura Geller. Eigentlich das Beste was es gibt, weil es so natürlich aussieht, garnicht wie geschminkt. Habe es jetzt hier bestellt, weil es das bei QVC Deutschland leider nicht mehr gibt. Aber ich bin enttäuscht, da es nicht die fest gebackene, nicht rieselnde Konsistenz hat. Ich habe nur hochwertige sehr weiche Pinsel, aber nur beim Berühren rieselt es schon über die Dose hinaus, und am Pinsel ist auch viel, was sich aber nicht mit dem Pinsel verbindet, sondern verloren geht bevor man am Gesicht angekommen ist. Sehr schade, warum wurde es so verändert??? So ist es nicht zu gebrauchen, und dafür dann auch viel viel zu teuer!!!

I was dragged into the hype of this and couldn't resit. Ordered last night and it arrived this morning. What a surprise to find it is actually really good :) the box was undamaged as was the powders inside ( a few reviews with badly damaged products ) there are guides on how to use the product which is helpful for me as I tend not to wear a lot of make up and haven't a clue on what goes where with all the products on the market. Currently I only ever wear a good moisturiser, mascara and eye liner with a nice lip balm. This set ( I bought the starter set as well ) is going to encourage me to wear a little make up now as is so easy to use and doesn't look caked on. Really light to wear. A little on the expensive side but I guess you get what you pay for. Glad I bought it. Really happy with my new powder and the starter set. Only a four star as it is a little pricey for what it is, but I guess you get what you pay for.
