I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016. Since my early twenties, I have noticed the symptoms a lot more - excessive & dark facial hair, sugar cravings, mood swings, missed cycles etc. I joined a couple of PCOS Support Facebook groups and lots of members recommended taking myo- inositol to help with this. I've been using these FreakAthletics capsule supplements for about a year now and the difference is very noticeable! It did take about 3 months of regular use for me to start seeing any changes, though. This is normal, as it takes the body a while to adjust & get the full effect of the supplements - checked this with my GP. Now, I feel a lot more balanced, and have noticed that I now have a more regular/ consistent mentrual cycle. I've been able to spot patterns with my migraines too - they always fall in the last week of the month (presumably cycle week!) I had to leave a review on this because I feel it would help someone else, I suffer from Cysts on my ovaries. My periods were irregular and I had about 6 weeks between each period. My skin was awful, my moods and hormones were even worse. I felt down everyday. My periods were heavy and painful and would wipe me out. I researched this product and was reluctant as I have never even been on the pill. I prefer to just leave things natural. However I kept coming back to this product so took the plunge. Best thing I ever did. I have been taking for 2 months. My periods regulated themselves and are now 28 days apart. The main thing I have noticed is my moods, I feel great and have a much more positive outlook, I’m not getting irritated and I’m sleeping 100% better. My skin has definitely improved. I’ve also found that I’m graving sweet snacks a lot less.The product itself comes in a small little tub with a tiny cute little spoon. easy to take.If you’ve been considering this, I would say go for it! :)hope this helps someone

Been taking 3 capsules a day with my meals for around a month, to try and regulate my cycle now we're trying for a baby. In that time I've noticed the following:*Chin and chest hair is reducing and getting lighter/softer*Bloating after meals is much better*Don't feel very tired straight after meals anymore*Just generally feeling better, more energy to do things like exercise!Haven't had a period since starting them, but have read that can take months, so not too concerned yet. Only real negative is the size of the capsules, they can get stuck in my throat sometimes.Overall I'm quite happy with them, would recommend

I've suffered with PCOS since the age of 16, often women are prescribed birth control for this condition which I believe reacts your fertility (I have terrible side effects to birth control) so birth control ie tablets etc was not an option, as I got older I obviously wanted to try for a baby, to find out that due to PCOS I didn't actually ovulate on my own at all =( myo inositol has changed my life, I have fallen pregnant 3 times due to myo inositol (unfortunately one pregnancy ended at 11 weeks) but have 2 children now due to these and in the future I will try for more, I still take inositol but don't believe each women needs to be taking a much as stated, I advise women use myo inositol and d-chiro inositol but build your self up on this, start small and build up to your level as PCOS/PCO effects women in different ways, myo helps via inducing hormones and D-Chiro inositol works as an stopper when ovaries have received too much of the hormones they need, combining both induces ovulation, promotes good egg quality. So if trying to fall pregnant with Pcos is proving hard then I recommend this 100% not to mention the fact the PCOS comes with horrible effects, these improve them greatly, yes they are pricey but these give you your life back and now my periods are regular, no heavy bleeds, no terrible cramps, no irregular bleeds, I'm ovulating =) no spots, no horrid hair. Please try these as they changed my life and believe they will other women as infertility and PCOS is the most horrible thing ever and I know it too well as before I fell pregnant and knew and these, I was trying for 7 years.

Great product! It works!

Initially purchased this because it was on offer and the size to price ratio offered better value for money compared to my usual brand - bulk. There was an issue with the delivery but getting that resolved was no problem. So when I saw it on offer again shortly after I wasted no time in buying. I should have taken the failed delivery on my first order as a sign.I have since had an opportunity to use this product a few times and there is little to be desired for a product that really shouldn't create angst.My greatest dislike is in its solubility or rather insolubility. This powder requires stirring and not just a quick stir either. It's clear the particle size of the powder isn't nearly as fine as it could be. I hate that I now need to babysit the powder in my drink or water or I'll end up with residual grit in the bottom of my glass ruining both my mood and my dining experience.The product itself is relatively tasteless. I cannot say if it improves energy but it will does require more energy than it should to get it fully dissolved.Certainly more hassle than it's worth and irritating to use in cold or room temperature liquids.The only grace I can extend is that this is a batch issue but based on my experience using this product I won't be spending my money to find out.For context, if I added bulk inositol to a glass of chilled liquid a quick swirl of the glass and the powder is completely dissolved and that's only if it didn't fully dissolved. If I add inositol first and pour liquid second, instantly dissolved. No stirring, swirling, checking, nothing. It was extremely easy to use and I didn't have to think about it beyond adding a scoop to my drink. With this brand I now need a spoon and/or to constantly check if it's dissolved until it's dissolved.I would not buy again.

Update- I finally got back my period! Even contraception pills didn't help and few weeks taking inositol and it's working and it doesn't hurt my liver either.. can't be thankfuk enugh ☺️I bought it help with my pcos, only take it for the 2nd week, so can't tell how it will help with that. But what I can tell it is something that I can take without problem. It dissolves straight away, juice, milk or water - doesn't matter, and doesn't leave any taste. No struggle to swallow, I wish every vitamin/supplement would be this easy to take. The price is really reasonable too. I definitely can say that it helps with my appetite, I don't feel cravings for sugary or fatty foods since I added this to my meals. Definitely recommend to anyone who is in the edge of diabetes/insulin resistance/pcos or anything else- read a litlle bit about inositol and what it can help with, this product is something you should try ( especially those who hate tablets or nasty tasting suppliments)

Not the type to write reviews! But after suffering from PCOS for the longest time, I had to do something about it. Read up on inositol and ordered this one as it had good reviews and was cheaper than some of the other brands.I am so happy that I’ve done this. I have energy every day. I don’t feel like I need to lie down after dinner because my body is overworking inside.I can actually go for walks or slow jogs without having to take breaks every 30 seconds.Hairloss and Acne has slowed down.Facial hairs are not as thick and visible.And most importantly my CRAVINGS! They have gone from 10000 to 0! I don’t feel like I need to constantly snack or eat sweets etc. I even managed to lose some weight.My periods have become regular now too!Just really happy with the product! Thank you!

I don’t have issues with my menstrual cycle being irregular, but I am always moody and fatigued throughout my workouts because of my PCOS. I bought this product to regulate my insulin level, because I haven’t seen much weight loss from all my workouts. And I still don’t see much improvements in my weight loss yet, but it has definitely increased my energy levels and mood.
