PAINT BEHIND Toilet Tool Nylon Brush, Painting Tool with Tray & Pad

This behind-the-toilet painting tool was a great purchase. It was straightforward to assemble and use, reached the tight space behind the toilet without any trouble, and provided good coverage. It saved time, reduced the hassle of painting in a cramped area, and performed exactly as advertised. I would definitely recommend it to anyone tackling a bathroom painting project.

I bought this because I was dreading taking the tanks off the toilets in order to paint behind them. I wasn't sure it would work on one toilet that had only about 1/2 inch of clearance behind the tank. But it did! Paint Behind does exactly what its makers promise. It's easy to load with paint, either by brushing the paint on or by dipping the brush in the included tray, or even dipping it carefully in your roller tray. The handle and brush are long enough to get all the way behind the tank-I swiped from the top, sides, and bottom. The paint goes on well so that it looks good with the other brushed or rolled paint in the area. Your job looks very professional when done, and no one would know that you didn't remove the tank to paint. The brush and pad clean up well-just let it rinse out, as opposed to running your hand down the pad. My bad-some paint spatters on my arms and on the counter, but cleanable. Lesson learned. I'm already thinking where else this tool could be useful-it would be great behind radiators, between appliances or cabinets and walls, or wherever there's a tight fit between something you want to paint and something you don't.

This worked for painting behind the toilet my only complaint is that it could of been more sturdy.

You dont realize how hard it is to paint around a toilet until you try it. This tool makes it som damn easy you wonder why every professional painter doesn't have five of them in their truck. The nap on the wand is excellent, it holds paint and applies to textured walls very smoothly. You can extend the handle a little bit but this weakens the wand control as it bends a bit. The package is also a paint tray which is clever. The cleanup is not too bad as I used enamel paint and all washed in fresh water just fine. The best part is that this tool is durable enough to keep for a while and use multiple times. IT IS NOT A OMNE-TIME USE KIND OF PAINT TOOL.

This was able to get behind the toilet and radiator heater in the bathroom. You can see in the photo where I was unable to reach the trim with a paint brush but the wall is colored thanks to this brush. Would buy again when needing to paint tight spaces. I did learn it was easier to paint from the bottom of the toilet vs the top. I used a paint brush to get paint on the brush itself as it will not dip in a paint tray unless you want paint on the handle portion of the brush vs the bristles only.

Purchased to paint behind a water heater. While it worked better than anything else I could find, it was not perfect. The handle is not super sturdy and bends under pressure. It got the job done but probably would not purchase again.

I needed to paint behind several toilets and beside some cabinets. I've done it before with a brush and small roller, but saw this and thought it might make things easier. And does it ever. I dipped it in the roller tray to ensure it was well coated without getting paint all over the back. Once the brush was full, I was able to easily extend it and get to painting. It left a nice even coat of paint behind the toilet tank without runs or excessive brush strokes. When I was done, the brush was easily rinsed out to use again rather than buying expensive refills. I think the true test of a product is whether I would buy it again. For this brush, I would without hesitation, despite the price seeming a bit high until you realize how much time it saves.

I hate to paint bathrooms particularly because of the toilet. When I saw this on Amazon I was really excited. But I accidentally ordered the replacement covers and not the wand. So I ordered the wand and I put off painting the bathrooms until the wand arrived. It’s great! I never can get the whole wall painted behind the commode. Now I can. I can clean and reuse the covers but Imposturehow many times. They are just plastic and clean up fine. Definitely worth it! Just so you know, I’ve been painting for 20 years. No one paid me or gave me anything free to say this. I don’t usually do reviews. This maybe my third one since I’ve been a Prime customer and that’s been more than five years In sure.

It works very well in spaces where a paint brush will not go. I’m happy with my purchase.

As a decorator with over 20 years in the trade, I’ve lost count of how many times a radiator has been fitted so tightly to the wall that even a standard mini roller is too thick to get down behind it. This Paint Behind tool is an absolute lifesaver. It is incredibly thin and has really helped get me out of some very tight spots. It does exactly what it needs to do and makes an annoying job completely effortless. Every decorator needs one of these in their kit bag.

This is the only product I've found that allows me to paint behind fixtures that are close, but not attached, to the wall. Simple to use and includes its own paint receptacle. No mess and easy clean up.

Pricey but works great. Should have option to purchase refills though.

It could be sturdier to be able to cover more area, but does the trick
