Will this work on a textured wall? We have that traditional textured kind of spackle stuff in our bedroom and I'm concerned this won't work.

Hello, the wallpaper will stick to textured walls as long as you use a primer on the wall first. But, you will also see the texture behind the wallpaper.

What is the ideal wall to apply this too? I am probably going to build soon so I have a clean slate

It is always best to add wallpaper paste to the back of the wallpaper for the best results. Also use a good wallpaper primer first and even better if you have smooth walls.

What is the background color? Cream or white?

It is an eggshell white but more white than what the picture looks like on the screen. When you look at it in person it looks white

Is this a vinyl paper or paper product. I want to use this in a guest bathrm and if its paper im afraid it wont hold up?

Hello, This is a paper with a vinyl coating and it is washable. It will hold up in a bathroom as it is water resistant. The wall prep is the most important part and using a good wallpaper primer before you install the wallpaper. I have seen paper wallpaper that is 40 years old in bathrooms and still in perfect condition.
