Sturdiness is acceptable, thickness is as expected unfortunately the gold color changed color after 1 week of wearing. I don't know what it's made of, didn't turn my skin black/green....idk what it is but not stainless steel. My other stainless steel gold necklace is still bright and gold tone after 6 months of constant wear.

Deceitful description of product.
Do not buy it! It is not stainless steel as the description says. I could not get a refund because I sent it out of the US and it would cost me more to return it.

Tarnish Mcgee
I was disappointed in finding out that the gold tarnishes and tarnishes sooooo fast. I made a necklace and wore it only for 2 days and I noticed within the first day it was tarnishing. I really wanted to use this for my Etsy store but I will not sell jewelry that is gonna tarnish like that. I haven’t tested the silver yet. I’ll test that one and update.

Fragile and hard to work with.
The chains are very small, the connectors and links are difficult to use with the chains.The chains I got had wire connectors which were a problem when measuring for a necklace. These are not continuous chains.Very fragile, not suitable for every day wear.
