As a disclaimer, this is my first time trying anything like this, so my opinion might be skewed, but I do still really love this set! Everything works great and it’s very simple to use / set up / clean up. I got a separate stamp set I liked a lot and combined with these wax beads + heater, I’ve been having a lot of fun. The spoon + little heater work great (and are so cute!). The wax beads are also good— they do have a slight synthetic smell when burned, but it’s not too strong / bad, imo; they’re true to their colour; you need ~3-4 per stamp; they re-melt easily. The markers that came with it are also great! They’re very moist + vibrant, and they add a nice extra pop when you want that. The little tea candles are standard / pretty long-lasting— I practiced for 1.5-2 hrs, blowing the candle out when I could, and I still haven’t fully used one up yet. Overall, I think this is a great starter set! You do need to get your own stamps but that was preferable for me since I wanted specific ones anyway. I love the colour variety of the beads. Everything works as it’s meant to. I’ve been having a lot of fun! **TIPS** •Using a tissue to clean the melted wax off the sides of the spoon right after you pour it will help prevent messes. Also, clean the soot / burnt areas off the bottom of the spoon between uses. •Practice on wax paper so you can easily peel the seals off + re-melt them! This way, you can practice to your heart’s content without actually using up / wasting your wax beads. •Look up guides + videos online! There are so many helpful resources out there; I learned a lot of little tips I hadn’t thought of myself this way.

I was surprised by the amount of wax pieces and color variations. The was melts nicely and allows plenty of time to ensure good quality seals. The smell is very mild. Mixing and matching color variation is an added feature. Money well spent.

A lot of wax to mix and match to have very cool designs. The wax is durable and seals the envelopes nicely. I've maybe had 3 out of 40 fall off during transit - (to be expected with postal service) Easy to use as it's straight and to the point. The construction is durable and is worth the money. As a tip, but proceed with caution ⚠️... if you're trying to do multiple envelopes you'll need a bigger flame if you want to get things done faster. The candles given will get the job done but if you're trying to send off more than 15 I'd either get a better candle or toss a TINY piece of paper towel in the wax sticking up above the wax line. The stand will get hot too so don't touch it! Stay safe and have proper PPE/equipment to extinguish if need be.
