For $10 this little fountain is amazing.It will run even in relatively low light, and wven at dusk will pulse every second or so.My first experience with this type of fountain was a similar unit that I bought at Aldi, (Gardenline) also for about $10, but that one didn't last more than 2 days, and the pump unit hung from the bottom and the unit wouldn't float on top. It also only created a real fountain type spray in full mid-day sun. The panel just didn't supply enough power to work in anything less than very direct sunlight. After baking for an afternoon in aun with low water it froze up.THIS fountain I spotted at an acquaintance's home, and they rold me they'd had theirs for 3 years with no issues. She gave me the link on Amazon and I ordered my own. Couldn't be happier.This fountain comes qith a selection of spray nozzles you can pop in that will change the type of fountain effect- you can have multiple thin jets of water, or a single spray straight up.You can clean the pump screen and impeller easily by popping the pump motor off the bottom and pulling the screen/grill off the intake.
