Best book ever. MONSTER HIGH 4ever.#1
This book was amazing honestly. This fight for a normal life has a huge picture to it that I love sooo much about monster high. Melody deciding between her true love Jackson or her best friends haylee and bekka. Frankie has such a big heart and she always fights for what she wants . Frankie and the rest of her best friends are so lucky to have each each other. Each character in this book has a huge role. And each role is super amazing and fun and worth fighting for. I have always loved monster high. And because of these books and the movies and the shows I will always be A MONSTER HIGH fan .#1 fan . Love monster high sooooooooo much.

Monster High Book
I got this book for my goddaughter who simply loves Monster High in an effort to get her to read more. Once she received this book she started reading it immediately and reports to me every page she reads and this is so pleasing as she is only 9 years old and has found a love for reading. She said she will take this book to school with her and ask her teacher if she may read it in class. I am so pleased with my purchase and I will definitely be purchasing from this seller in the near future, shopping for Christmas gifts.

I would go to THIS high school!
Fun, adventurous and oh so high school! I found this book searching through some free stuff on my kindle and I must say it shouldn't be free at all! This book is cute and fun in every way. I can't wait to start the second book and even though I'm an adult, it felt good to go to Monster High!

Don’t wait buy now!!
Great read for a great series! Very different from the movies and show. The books give a more “realistic “ feel to the characters and a more personal background for each character.

Most appropriate by 10-12 year olds?
Monster High is about what I would have expected of a parnormal `monster' book about high school students brought to you by the author of the "Clique" books. It was cute and not very involved. The book wasn't boring but it wasn't groundbreaking or even all that exciting."Monster High" is a novel based on characters created by Mattel. We have Draculaura (Dracula's daughter), Blue Lagoona (daughter or the sea monster), Cleo (the mummy's daughter) and others. This book is told from two points of view. The first is Melody Carver. Melody is a human girl who isn't impressed by beautiful people at all as her dad is a plasic surgeon. The other is Frankie Stein. She was created 15 days ago although she has been created to be 15 human years old. Frankies grandfather is the famous Frankenstein's monster.Frankie is going to school for the first time and she hates that she has to hide her skin color (Really, skin color???!??) by covering herself with make-up to look white. (And yes, that is how the book puts it). Frankie wants to rebel and be her green, seamed self. She is proud of how she looks and wants all the monster students to be able to come out of the closet.Melody is nice enough but her story drags the most. When Frankie is with her monster friends the book is good for some fun and chuckles at least. Frankie is a hoot and her innocence is believable and charming. I really wanted to know more about the other monsters as well. There is a cute plot where Melody and Frankie like the same boy, who really has two personalities...his name is Jackson Jeckyl if that means anything to you. It will be neat to see where this goes. The story again is cute but its far too easy. The plot doesn't develop enough or ask enough questions. These characters could go far but I just don't know if this book sets things in the right direction. I had pretty much expected the book to be the way it is (again, based on the author) so I wasn't really disappointed.I am really confused by the marketing of Monster High though. Mattel has developed adorable and creative dolls based on these characters. Barbie and Bratz lovers are going to go crazy for these. There are purses and secret journals and all kinds of toys out there for what I would guess would be 7-10 year olds. This book is marketed for young adults. I don't think many adults and older teens would love it, but it is pretty advanced for the same group that would be buying the toys and watching the cartoons. I would really like to know who exactly Mattel/Harrison are targeting here.

Better than I thought
My younger sister is obsessed with the Monster High dolls and videos. I decided to read this book before her, making sure it was appopriate. It was actually better than I thought! Melody and Frankie were more alike than different. Both new to the scene and both in love with Jackson and D.J.! I really felt bad for Jackson when Melody got mad at him. Especially bad when he kissed Cleo because he was in "DJ form". I really liked this book and I am waiting for the next one! If you think it is horrible and lame, think again.

Review of "Monster High"
I dowloaded this to my kindle and I really enjoyed it. The book series goes on its own different path from the Monster High webisodes and movies. This is long before Monster High existed when the Monsters had to go to a Normie High School and do what they could to appear human and some things about the characters are different but only slightly. It's nice to get a different perspective.
