Does it have some type of liner

There is a liner and non removable cup inserts. I keep fidgeting to get the liner to stop looking out at the thigh but it's not that serious once I get it right

How long are the legs and are they snugged?

On a size 12, the inside seam is 3 inches. The circumference of the leg opening is 20 inches, so it would depend on the size of your leg as to how it would fit. Initially mine fit very well, smooth around my leg. It did stretch a little, but is still fine to wear.

I am 5ft 8in. i wear a size 4-6 us size. i have a long torso. what size should i get? how does this fit for people with long torsos?

A small would fit. The stretch is good.

Is this good for swimming laps?

Yes it is, i swim mostly laps and do water exercise. Size comes out small wish I had ordered the next size.
