It's fresh smelling and I love the scent. I've used it for years and it does the job. It's moisturizing and my skin feels great afterwards. It lathers up well. A little goes a long way

Original Alemarin Scent in a High Quality Shower Gel
We have used the dark blue Algemarin bubble bath for over 30 years and loved it. This shower gel has the same scent as the dark blue product, and it is a very high quality shower gel. Love it. If you liked the older original Algemarin, you will not be disappointed. A very small amount goes a long ways, so be careful to use it sparingly and not waste it. Great product.

The fragrance was not what I expected
Since this is my first experience with this product I don't know if it is authentic. Algemarin was described as smelling like the sea or a mermaid. It does not smell like the sea to me. It smells like Badedas or Original Green Vitabath. The texture is thick and creates a nice lather and it is relaxing, especially after a long day at work, so I will give it 4 stars.

I have been searching for this for many years
I stayed at a 5 star hotel about 12 years ago (or longer) and they had a soap with a smell that I just could not get out of my mind. This is the smell. This shower gel is amazing. the smell is invigorating and the shower gel leaves you fresh and clean like no other soap. I am immediately ordering a couple more to keep on hand. I hope this never falls off of the market and is always available.

I got turned on to Alegmarin's bubble bath some time ago, then I found they had a shower gel. This stuff will make you feel special. Its a luxury in a shower gel that make you feel great and smells wonderful. You'll love it so much you'll hide it from your house guests.

scent to the MAXXXXXX
I used this in the 1990s from Marshall Fields and thought it was long gone! Its very rich lather, swirly blue and smells like a Mermaid! Dont wait, get it.. lasts a long time on your skin

It does smell like the original. Lovely.
I used to buy this product a long time ago and was surprised to see it back for sale again. The bottle has changed. But since others testified to the fact that it smelled the same, I decided to try it. They are correct. This memorable scent takes me back to those original bottles of Algemarin. Delightful.
