I became a first time, extremely novice, dog owner when I rescued my loving fur baby running down the road on a stormy Friday night. As such, it's been a learn as you go science project for me, keeping him healthy and me from going broke with vet bills.I wasn't aware of anal scent glands or the importance of proper poop geometry or consistency in keeping them expressed. As long as it wasn't diarrhea, I did nothing to his diet and as a long as I can remember, it was watery, soft, thin and hard to bag up with poop bag. I knew the groomer did something to his butt, but didn't know what it was for. That all changed one day about 2 months ago when Yahtzee did a dive bomb scoot on me. When I checked his rear there was a small paper cut like there, so I applied antibiotic ointment and moved on. When reappling, that evening, I just touched the area lightly and out came a small amount of green and yellow puss. Trip to the vet and, you know it, infected anal scent gland. Vet tried to express it in the other room, no go. The wailing from my boy broke my heart. Vet kept him for the afternoon but, couldn't get them expressed with pup under tranquilizers. He told me it's not unusual in small dogs and that it would probably an ongoing problem. Then, gave me antibiotics and suggested adding pumpkin to his diet and other high fiber food to cause pooping to naturally do the expressing.That said, whew sorry for the long winded set up, I had to take on this project and researched the condition on the web. Everything led me to pumpkin in the diet and one site suggested something called silicea 6x. Amazon research of reviews led me to a clear choice based on reviews - GLANDEX! I immediately placed an order and started him on half a chew daily per the product instruction. AMAZING RESULTS!After about 3 weeks on the product, my boys poop started to take shape and color as it was supposed to look per Internet pictures, but still not quite like the pictures said. Well, with each passing day it got better and better. Now, 5 weeks in, I am so happy to say it's really great poop. Warm, segmented, brownish and picks up firm, moist, warm and all in one piece! I am so happy I could poop!So, THANK YOU GLANDEX, you've made a dog and his owner very happy and grateful! I made some other changes to his diet and exercise, but as far as this science project goes, I have to honestly and thankfully say that GLANDEX was the solution for me!The seller, Vetnique Labs, is commended for this product, fast shipping and helpful follow up emails on the product!I highly recommend you use this product BEFORE your pet goes through the suffering that mine did. I can't say enough how great I feel this product is! It's helped me sleep better, feel better and how thankful I am!Footnotes for other novices....1. At first my Yahtzee wouldn't take the GLANDEX as a stand alone treat. I just sandwiched it inside another treat, now he loves his GLANDEX as a reward. Be persistent.2. He woofed down the raw pumpkin at first. But then, about a week in of two tablespoons a day, he turned his nose up at it, period. I then recalled that he'd vomited orange / yellow that morning and highly suspect it was the pumpkin not being fully digestible. GLANDEX to the rescue! No such problem with the product and it contains pumpkin extracts and other great nutrients and probiotics, as well!3. Of course, I had to try the Silicea 6x suggestion, and while I'm sure it may have helped the dogs of those who so highly suggested it, it was a huge disaster for me.Day 3, raspberry jelly poop and an immediate trip to the vet - $165 dollars worth of stool and blood work said he was ok and thank God above no permanent damage and no more raspberry jelly poop after I stopped. Something about adding the sand like powder, when crushed as directed, substance to his drinking water raised a yellow flag in my mind, but the product seemed very highly reviewed and suggested for the condition. GLANDEX is soft, moist and easy to ingest in comparison.THANKS GLANDEX! AMAZING WHAT A LITTLE CHEW CAN DO!

This was recommended by my vet after my dog needed to have her anal glands expressed several times over the course of a few months. We immediately noticed a difference in her stool, much firmer, which is healthier for her anal glands. Very happy with this product and my dog enjoys them

Our senior Dalmatian has been on three Glandex chews a day for quite a while now, and the improvement has been remarkable. She once had a gland rupture that sent us to the emergency vet, and even with routine gland expression afterward, she continued to struggle. Once we introduced these chews, the issues stopped. I have only been using this for several weeks on my 3yo Maltipoo- he was forever scooting, going to vet 1x a month and just uncomfortable. This product is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I tried everything before this and spent $$$ at vets- NO MORE!! - I did purchase the peanut butter flavor, which my baby does not care for, but hidden in something else he's eating it! I have seen what it helps get out (ewww-a lot!) and my dog is so much more settled, no more butt licking either! WORKED SUPER FAST! I am grateful!!

My fur baby has been on these for several years now. He suffered an anal gland rupture on Christmas day. Yeah, very expensive day! But I had had him in to see the vet 2 months prior for throwing up. I didn't know about those plans and she never checked anything but what he had been eating, gave him something for throwing up chgd over 4hundred and sent me on my way. This Glandex has been a vital part of digestion since then. It absolutely has helped him. If you know any new dog parents, do them a favor and tell them about anal glans;) I use the peanut butter flavor. He likes it and looks forward to getting it every morning. Its good stuff!

I have tried different fiber treats to help with my Pugs gland issues and none of them worked until we tried Glandex. I bought it because of the many positive reviews and we were not disappointed! The treats worked within about a week or two, she is much better with no stinky smell or rug scooting. I will have this delivered on a regular schedule from now on. She loves the taste too!

Ich war zuerst sehr skeptisch, ob ein bisschen "Pumpkin" und "apple pectin powder" die Analdrüsenprobleme meines Hundes lösen sollen... wurde aber positiv überrascht. Angefangen hatte ich im Juli mit den Kautabletten - jeden Tag morgens zusammen mit dem Hauptfutter bzw. mittags als Leckerlie zwischendurch. Da die Packung aber für nur etwa einen Monat reicht und man in dieser kurzen Zeit keine richtige Beurteilung abgeben kann, habe ich anschließend das Pulver bestellt, was viel länger hält, da ich bei meinem 10 kg-Mix nur etwa 1/4 Teelöffel dem Futter beimische.Ich kann nun, nach etwa 4 Monaten täglichem zufüttern, sagen, dass es wirklich hilft! Die Symptome (permanentes belecken und rutschen) sind schon nach etwa 2 Monaten deutlich besser geworden. Mittlerweile würde ich sogar sagen, dass sie überhaupt nicht mehr auftreten.Doch wie das leider oft so bei (pflanzlichen) Tierarznei-Produkten ist: es ist von Hund zu Hund unterschiedlich ob es Wirkung zeigt oder nicht... daher einfach selbst testen! Bei meinem Hund funktioniert es wunderbar.

Mon Amstaff avait des problèmes de glandes mais la dernière fois que nous l'avons emmené chez le vétérinaire, c'était très douloureux pour lui, il gémissait et pleurait.J'ai beaucoup entendu parler de ces compléments et après avoir lu toutes les critiques, j'ai décidé de les essayer pour voir si cela pouvait améliorer la situation.Comme il pèse près de 40 kilos, j'ai commencé à lui donner 4 friandises par jour.Au début, il n'était pas très sûr de lui, mais après les deux premières, il est maintenant très heureux de les avoir et remue la queue.Elles sentent le beurre de cacahuète.Au cours du dernier mois, il avait un problème de caca un peu trop mou et se léchait constamment les fesses, mais après quelques jours avec ces friandises, il a cessé de se lécher et son caca est redevenu sain, solide et clair.Ce supplément nous a épargné un voyage très douloureux chez le vétérinaire, et les coûts qui en découlent.Nous continuerons à l'acheter comme supplément d'entretien. Il est arrivé parfaitement scellé aussi.
