Good strong magnets and a neat way to line them up. I think they could do with some extra sticky pads however as if they don’t line up right and you have to move things about they won’t stick well enough to pull away from the magnet. Really needed a few spare. It comes supplied with exactly what you need if nothing goes wrong. That said it was my fault for fussing about. Basically I have an 80’s kitchen which is solid enough for me but some of the doors won’t line up properly to fully close. These magnets solved that.

Strongish magnetic catch, does the job well

well made, easy to fit and the really strong magnets keep doors and cabinets closed even under strain for packed wardrobes. Great job

Magnets: they will not hold an object that is moving in a side/up/down ways direction. They will hold a load that cannot move up/down/sideways, EG when screwed to doors. I fitted these to a Pine cupboard that is stuffed full, no problem, they are still closed after 24 hrs. will I buy more, yes when needed.

I bought these magnets to fit/attach panels underneath my kitchen cabinets/cupboards to provide easy access to the underneath for cleaning etc . They have done the job but do not seem to be as heavy duty as advertised. I would approximate the strength/or weight pull to only be about 2-3kgs per magnet rather than the advertised 15kg. This is a bit disappointing as it means the panels are too easy to remove by accident. I think therefore I would have been better going for other brands where the magnets are smaller and cheaper and so I could fit twice as many instead to get the required force/attraction. They were however straightforward and easy to fit, although the screws proved a little tricky to screw in as the head was too easy to burr. I haven't tested the 3M sticky tape as I only used screws to complete the fitting. At £7.99 for a pack of four I feel they are probably overpriced by about £2 based on the pierce of comparable brass ones in my local independent hardware store which were £2 each but slightly smaller in size.

Used to replace magnet closures on bedroom wardrobe. As no-one else has given any idea on how they fitted these I've included what I did to ensure they fitted properly for anyone who might want to know. As I was replacing similar magnets I made a template of the magnet side to ensure that when I fitted the new magnets they would avoid the previous drill holes. I used a bradle to mark the new drill holes and as the wood was only pine and the screws very small i didnt bother to predrill the hols. Once these were fitted I then stuck a 5cm strip of cellotape over the front (countersunk side) of the metal strip. I then placed the metal strip with the countersunk side facing the magnet. This meant that the sticky side of the cellotape was facing outwards so when closing one side of the double doors I could stick the cellotape to the door. Then holding the tape in place, open the door (this ensures the metal strip separates from the magnet). I then had the metal strip in the exact place to screw in place.

Needed to replace old ones they work well

Top quality, excellent finish and powerful magnets. For my project: steel, industrial bookshelf with a few doors. Very happy about the overall package. Recommendable and fitted for legio options, be it wood, steel etc.
