It feels solid and well made in your hand, - not flimsy. It's easy to use. Just turn it on and press both pins in the end of the device into the wood at least 5cm from the edge to get an accurate reading. The display is large, back lit and easy to read. It comes in a storage box wrapped in a cloth pouch, two additional pins, and a small tool to change them out should this become necessary. There is also an instruction pamphlet, but honestly the use of the thing is pretty self explanatory. This thing takes a reliable reading and that's all it needs to do. It's inexpensive, and with Prime, you can have it in a hurry.
