A: The Bluetooth chip has been updated, replacing the old version of the chip, using an upgraded model

**Q: Where can i get a new charge cord i missed placed mine**
A: Contact manufacture.

**Q: is the battery compartment sealed with a screw or something so it's not easily accessible?**
A: No.  The battery compartment has a clip that unlatches to reveal the battery.  I've not had any issues with it opening unexpectedly.
