And serves as the perfect gift. Review: Hmm well! I am having second thoughts - It all started with Little Red Riding Hood. I bought it from a store near by for 99/-. My 3 year old had me read it to him over and over. Soon I started looking for the other titles and that's when I chanced up on an irresistible deal from desertcart: 23 books for 1399. Not bad at all! The books were broader and taller than the one copy I had. The content and the graphics are the same. Initially I thought I got more for less. But then later I felt our Red Riding Hood copy was easier to flip through and it also fitted well into my son's hands. It is definitely not an age appropriate packaging. While a 3 year old could comprehend some, some like Rapunzel were beyond him. Similarly older children may find stories like Goldilocks, Enormous Turnip etc. silly. Finally I decided to put away the ones I thought were harder for my son to comprehend. If you are collecting the titles separately and are particular that all the books fit into your shelf beautifully, please be sure to check the dimensions before you buy. Going with 4 stars as the books are hardbound and of very good quality. However I am still wondering if I hurried into buying the collection.
