I’ve used this awning quite a bit now and overall I’m very pleased with the quality of it. It’s easy to install and the hardware hasn’t rusted on me despite always being parked outside. It’s straightforward to set up and I haven’t run into any issues with the legs. As the pictures show, the joints for the poles are well done and I don’t have any fears that the poles will fail at the joints. The awning fabric is my biggest concern as it seems a bit thin, but so far in high winds in the desert, the awning has been incredibly stable. This isn’t going to be a good as the more expensive options out there, but it fits my budget and is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. I’m quite pleased with it.

Such a great awning! Great quality, provided amazing shade, waterproof, and hardware was top notch! Stability is amazing even without the tie-downs. Will be purchasing again!

Update: the seller reached out and took care of me. Good to know customer services has my back. I will be ordering this again to give it another shot. I used this about 8 times in the last month during light to medium wind and it did great. It kept rain off of us and over all worked pretty good. Today we were out and a stiff gust of wind came through unannounced (25-35 mph). It twisted the awning, bent a bar and also ripped a bolt through the metal in the main awning plate. Basically unrepeatable. I liked this awning but the metal should not have ripped like it did so easily. We are 1 month past the Amazon return window and it's worthless. It's worth the price if you don't have a windy day camping.

I bought this as a replacement after my ARB broke in a storm. After mounting it and using it on two trips, I don't have anything bad to say. First and foremost, it looks and feels the exact same as the ARB awning. It sets up the same, etc. What it doesn't do? Mount the same. It has slightly larger diameter bolts which means drilling out your existing holes which is annoying. But once you're over that part and it's installed, it will work just the same as any other awning. It's held up throughout a stormy Florida weekend, the same kind of storm that broke the ARB. All that, at a fraction of the price. I'm pretty convinced this one is just fine.

We bought this for our overland adventures and were looking forward to sharing a good quality affordable review with our YouTube audience. Unfortunately, that will not be the review we give! The poles are absolute garbage and made from the cheapest materials that go from the roof to the end. The leg poles are just as bad and poorly designed and made from cheap materials. They snapped in 10mph winds rendering this setup useless!!! You cannot even get replacement poles because they are still unavailable for the 8.2 ft awning. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand because All-Top is car from a quality product like they claim!!!!!

I love this awning. I was eyeing the ARB, but it was just out of my price range. When I found the ALL-TOP and found out that it also has an awning room, I jumped on it. My wife doesn't like to camp as much as I do so when I'm overlanding, I definitely use the awning for shade and to setup my cooking station. BUT... if my wife and the kids come along, my wife enjoys the option of staying in the awning room so she doesn't have to climb down at night to use the restroom. It's definitely a win-win. This awning also withstood the wind test. We've taken it out twice in 40-50 mph winds with the awning alone and with the room setup. It performed flawlessly. I will say, I borrowed a hack I found on youtube and made some extra supports that you can see in the photos. They definitely helped during those high winds.

Wife and I love this product. It works really good easy to set up and easy to put away. Nothing better than have any canopy on the side of your truck. Recommend 100%.

This seems like a good quality product. Seems sturdy. However installation was not what I thought it would be. The install needs to be more obvious in the product description. I was annoyed that wasn’t easily fit onto my very popular brand of roof basket, Yakima. If they would have had a few more bracket options in there I might have had an easier time installing. They give 4 options and I think 3 of them wanted you to drill holes for installation. I returned this as the installation method I needed to use required drilling.
