My RO system came with the flimsiest tank valve. Just finger tight it snapped like a stale pretzel. No hardware store carries them and the associates acted like it was some mystical lost technology “I’ve never seen anything like that”. But these came up first thing on an RO Tank Valve search and they’re great. Worked like a charm. Highly recommended. In fact, if you’re installing an RO system, get a couple just in case. There cheap enough and more than likely better quality then the one the system you bought came with.

These are exactly as described. Simple installation. While it is a plastic fitting it feels quite durable.

So I didn't have to use electricity or have a noisy pump in my van, I was able to reuse these Ro tanks that are 4 gallons a piece and pressurized. The package came with four and I only needed to there was two different sizes but the two I needed was there so I'm very grateful. No leak so far knock on wood

Perfect for upgrading the R/O system

My tank started leaking, this product was a perfect replacement and stopped the leak immediately.

These are good valves at a cheap price. Just fitting the valve as is dripped a little. But then I used the plumbers tape and then re installed this. After that no drip at all. So a little plumbers tape before fitting the valve will ensure no leak at all. Plumbers tape I got from Home Depot was a higher quality tape that I got for about two dollars. So well worth it. I have two RO tanks, one 4.4gal and one 2.0gal. I only needed the two 3/8" pair of ball valves to use with these tanks- the 1/4" ball valves already come with most any RO tank you purchase. The 4.4gal tank is upright and that ball valve seems to be ok, the other 2.0gal tank is on its side and just recently started leaking after being in use two weeks. This is a filtered water system and the tanks aren't turned off and on, so there is no high usage causing this leak. My smaller tank is setup fortunately in a basement where the puddling water of this tank leak isn't much of an issue. But if there were under a kitchen sink as it is intended to be.. I should have gone John Guest like most of my fittings.
