Hmmm. On the fence regarding these things.
I have a wonderful dress jacket and yes, I do tend to sweat, not profusely, but enough to cause a slight stain on any clothing I tend to wear.First off, I'm puzzled by the cost. These are, as one other reviewer stated, essentially panty liners that are in a different shape, so why the heck are they sold in so little quantity, and for so much per shield pair? That's puzzling to me. Another example of how women continue to get ripped off. And why are they put into pairs and then packaged? Why not sell them in a larger quantity box without the extra plastic wrap?Another thing is the adhesion. I was worried that these would fall off, as part of them started to roll when I adhered them and then put the jacket on. It made me really self-conscious of how these were going to stay on. I wore them again with a white shirt and one of them came off and was sticking to my arm, it was painful and I had to discreetly peel it off and throw it in my bag. That was fun.I also was a little concerned with the overall shape. It's wider on one side than the other. I'm not sure why that is, as armpits are relatively large, sweat-gland area wise. These should be equally big on both sides, not one side an inch and the other 2 inches. Strange. They didn't crinkle or make any noise, and are thin. But that's something that I found didn't justify the cost.I would never take my jacket off when these are on. The jacket that I have doesn't need to be, but if it were, I'd keep it on.If you have a dark jacket, these will show.If you sweat in these, they can't be reused. They'll stink, first of all, and they can't be washed. They also should be removed from clothing right away, as instructed, because any more than 3 days, they can be really difficult to remove or ruin the lining of your clothing. They're not going to cut down on dry cleaning for me. They might eliminate some perspiration, but not all.On the plus side, I like the area that folds with the bottom seam under the armpit. It's well designed. The rest of it, I'm not too impressed by. Seems like something that I'll burn through fast, so I'm just going to look for shields that I can reuse so I don't end up throwing my money in the trash with these.

Great, if you DON'T sweat on them
Great, if you DON'T sweat on them. These were thinner than another brand that I bought so I thought OK, not bulky. Completely disintegrated when I perspired. I had to peel more than 7 pieces off of my suit jacket. Do NOT waste your money if you are actually trying to absorb sweat or avoid perspiration satins on your clothes, these were much more expensive than the other brand that I will go back to. Very disappointed for Maidenform, I usually love their products, not this one!

pretty good
The product seems to work well. I didn't have any problems with it being noisy or coming un-stuck. However, they look exactly like the material for pantiliners, and when taking my jacket on and off, I felt like I had to try to do it so no one would see them, which was impossible, so it was kind of embarassing. I would probably not keep them in again unless it was some where I'd never take my jacket off, like an interview.

I'd also like if they were a little bigger in diameter
I purchased these as I can get quite emollient and wearing certain clothes become prohibitive. I tried these and where they worked in the beginning of the day, by the end of the day the shields had slid down my sleeves a few inches. Giving these the benefit of the doubt I was wearing a shift dress that gave me limited mobility (but it's crazy cute!) and I think that caused the slide. I'd try them again. I'd also like if they were a little bigger in diameter.

No thanks!
I purchased these and another brand at the same time in an effort to preserve some of my suit coats. These are, by far, the inferior of the two brands.First, I had trouble getting them to stick to my suit coat. Any time I readjusted them and tried to stick my arm back through, the pad would come off. When I finally got them to stick, they covered the area the size of a large apple. This is likely about the size of an underarm sweat spot, but it only works if you get it in exactly the right place (as aforementioned, that's not easy). My frustration for this product was further solidified at the end of the day when I got home and the pad was stuck completely to my underarm. I now have a skin rash in the area in which it was stuck, as it was surprisingly more adhesive to skin than to my suit coat.Needless to say, I will purchasing the other brand in the future.

Great luck with these!
I have really enjoyed these dress shields -- it took me forever to find a brand that doesn't make crinkly plastic sounds. Other brands sounded like a diaper in my jacket! The Maidenform ones are soft, good shape and they adhere well. I get many uses out of them. Like another review says, they can roll off the jacket and adhere to themselves -- I have found that if I take a little extra time to put on my jacket carefully then there is no problem. I am glad to spend a few extra seconds putting them on as opposed to sounding like I have a diaper in my jacket!

Doesn't Adhere
I ordered this brand because it was cotton and seemed to have the most thought out design in regards to function and fit. I attached the shields around 8 am and did not put on my jacket after 1 pm. When I put my jacket on, the shields rolled right off my jacket and stuck to themselves. When I tried to pry them apart, they tore. Garment Guard Disposable Underarm Shields lasted an entire warm summer day and could have lasted a lot longer. They could even be reapplied. Now I know.

don't stick well.
Didn't stick well to my tshirts. Too large to fit tiny sleeves, will fit a regular tshirt. Sadly they don't stay on.
