Great hard wearing gardening gloves - wash well also

I am a landscape gardener and have tried many gloves. These gloves (large in green) after a couple of weeks abuse, with the same amount of mixed fabric washes, have not faltered and still look as good as new. They are light and unrestrictive whilst on and the split cow hide palm and fingers have proven themselves against the narliest of roses thorns (though not the unprotected back of hand) and all other aspects a busy garden landscaping firm can thow at them. My only quiggle being I either need to try a medium or would appreciate a bit more elastic or other adjustable method around the wrist area just to give a little more of a secure fitting. Overall I will be reordering these as my current general work glove 🙂 They didn't last as long as expected. I had been washing and naturally drying them.... After a couple of month the leather palms just started to rip and deteriorat. Definitely a decent spring/summer general glove for manual workers. Not slim fitting but comfortable.

I have mixed feelings about these gloves. Pros: They're soft and very comfortable and do seem thorn proof so far. Cons: I followed the measurement guide and got the biggest size and they do fit across the knuckles well but they feel an inch too short. They do have a bit of elastic across the top which looks like it's intended to be a wrist band but on me, it's nowhere near my wrist. As a result of this, they've fallen off or pulled off my hands on occasions. Overall they are useful though for light gardening jobs I would say..

I got these when I needed to put new rope on the scratching posts for my cat tree. These protected my hands from getting slivers of rope in my hands and fingers and they also kept my fingers from getting burned from the hot glue. They fit great and they are sturdy enough to do the scratching post project. They are flexible, comfortable and worked well at protecting my hands. I might be able to use them 1 more time for the cat tree project. If not, no big deal. They took quite a beating and are definitely worth what I paid for them. I will definitely purchase them again if I need my hands protected for a project like that again.
