Not Intended For Human Consumption
Have you grown a beard in a vain attempt to assert your rugged manliness on demand? Have you found that after the New-Beard Honeymoon Phase wore off, your beard became a symbol of your unruly, child-like free spirit, sending your Lower-Face Game from GQ to P.U. after just a couple lonely winter weeks? You find the wall of whiskers you originally built to neatly tuck away your insecurities was nothing more than a cheap facade that crumbled with the first passing breeze. Your insecurities now spill from you uncontrollably, like spaghetti spilling from the pockets of Chef Boyardee. Your personal badge of pride now mocks you each time you pass a mirror - growing more and more tangled - eventually weaving itself into a grotesque bird's nest of which only the most deranged feathered beast would roost.I was like you once. That was before Mountaineer Brand Cedar-Scented Natural Beard Oil came into my life! With just a dime-sized drop of this expertly Handcrafted All-Natural Beard Oil rubbed into my whisker thicket, my beard Looks Shiny, Feels Soft, and Stays Hydrated for days. Mountaineer Brand Natural Beard Oil not only conditions your beard, but also the skin underneath, controlling dandruff and relieving you of the dreaded Beard-Itch. I apply once every few days but it can be used more often as long as any residual oils are washed out before reapplying.Did I mention, once applied, the oil will have you smelling like you were just laid off from a saw mill? With the most delicate balance of Cedar and Fir Needle essential oils, the scent invigorates but never overpowers. Seriously folks, you'll smell like you just walked out of the woods after single-handedly building a log cabin on your day off. This Oil wasn't made for Beards, Beards were made for this Oil.I ordered a couple of other brands of Beard Oils along with the Mountaineer Brand and after trying each of them once, I left the others to be forgotten in the dark, dirty part under the sink. The only flaw with the Mountaineer Brand is mouth of the bottle. It's similar to squeezable salad dressing bottles but less farty. With this being a bottle of oil, it quickly gets messing on the inside of the cap and eventually the whole bottle is slick and sticky - albeit wonderfully scented. One of the others I had purchased had an unscrewable eyedropper for the lid eliminating any need to wash the bottle down after each use. This is something I hope the folks at Mountaineer will resolve soon because it is honestly the only drawback -though not a big enough deal for me to discontinue using their product. What it all boils down to: If you have a Beard, and you don't use Mountaineer Brand Natural Beard Oil..is it really a Beard at all?Give your Beard what it deserves.Overall:Outstanding Product, A Must-Have For Any Respectable Beard Owner.5/5 Bananas

Changed up to Coal - Overall, I am happy again with the Mountaineer brand products
I have been buying the Mountaineer brand beard oil (in WV Timber) since it first came about. I would say that I have maybe gone through 20 bottles or so in that timeframe, feeling that it is a great product at fair price. I also like their beard shampoo as well and have at least gone through 10 of these as well. It is has got to the point that by each for me as gifts during the holiday season. With all that being said, I decided to give the WV Coal version a try to change things up (both in the beard oil and the beard shampoo). First came the shampoo, the scent in my opinion is a mix of a number of scents but peppermint and patchouli stand out prominently. To me, this is a very pleasant scent and while the strength of the shampoo aroma dissipates after the shower there is still a light scent that remains.Upon receiving the beard oil, this too had the same scent as the shampoo but where it differs is that the scent remains nicely strong. With the Timber, the scent was very light and, in my opinion, somewhat neutral shortly after applying it. With the Coal, I am getting a nice aroma routinely after wearing all day or after sleeping on it overnight. The Coal is a keeper for me although I did experience an issue that made this test somewhat satisfying. I have yet to experience and issue with leaking during shipment, and especially since they moved to the sealed poly bag for the containers several years back. Everything has arrived without issue. In the case of the Coal beard oil, everything seemed good, no leakage, clean sealed poly bag, but the bottle felt drastically less in weight than I am used to. It just so happens that I had a full Timber that I had ordered accidentally the day before, so it was easy to make the comparison between the two. Aside from weighing less, the Coal bottle was not filled like the Timber bottle and appeared to be about a ~1/4โ or so less in the container. Maybe I just got one that there was an accident with, or someone took some for themselves off the line. This is a first offense and given their years of service to me is worthy of a pass. As I buy more over time, I will comeback and readjust should there be a continued issue.Three things I would like to see as a long time consumer of the Mountaineer brand products:1) The ability to buy larger bottles or multipacks at a slight discount (similar to the two packs offered for the Timber version of the oil).2) And for the beard shampoo; while I really like the stopper installed in the bottle (because it works great, when it works) it rarely stays in the bottle and most times comes off and remains logged in the screw off cap. It is likely that a proper flip cap could solve this issue. Still a great product, just save me some time the frustration of having to glue the stopper into each new bottle I get.3) Keep up the good work; you provide a great product at a great price point. Well done!

Good oil, great scent profile
Orange spice scent is great. Oil works well on beard, stachรฉ, and helping slick back the hair with whatโs left on the hands in the morning. Only reason for four stars, not five, itโs a little โthinnerโ than some others Iโve used. But, Iโm nitpicking a little. Iโll call it 4.5 stars tho. (5 being perfect). Will definitely buy again.

Citrus & Spice Scent Is Amazing โ Oil Feels Even Better
Iโve been really impressed with this beard oil so far. The consistency is excellent โ it has a rich, thick feel that applies smoothly and absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue. After using it regularly, my beard feels noticeably softer, more moisturized, and much easier to manage throughout the day.The Citrus and Spice scent is one of my favorites. Itโs fresh, warm, and very balanced, giving my beard a clean yet subtly bold aroma. I do wish the scent lasted a bit longer, but the quality and feel of the oil itself absolutely make up for that.Overall, Mountaineer Brand continues to stand out as a professional, reliable maker of high-quality grooming products. If youโre looking for a beard oil that performs well and feels great, this one is definitely worth trying.

Great Beard Oil
Smells like clove, citrus & something else. I have a short beard, currently. I use 3-4 drops per use. You can feel the effects of the oils, including moisturizing, on your skin & beard. when you rub it into your beard. Large bottle size. It should last you a very long time. I recommend it.

Used to smell great
I first bought the WV Timber in 2015 and I loved it and Iโve bought it almost yearly since. It had a great cedar smell to it and itโs also a great beard oil. In 2018 I wrote the company and asked what had changed since there the smell of cedar in their oil was noticeably reduce. They were very nice, told me the recipe hadnโt changed, that I likely got a bad batch and sent me a free bottle. Which was great, except the new bottle had the same scent as the one I complained about, with very little cedar scent to it. I was bummed but it still smelled ok and I continued to buy the product.Well, I just opened a new bottle and I canโt detect any scent to it. Like ANY scent. So I brought it to my wife who has a sense of smell like a pregnant grizzly bear. And she couldnโt detect any scent to it. Well, other than the general scent of โoilโ.Unfortunately, I bought 2 bottles this last time. My bad...

Timber is the BEST!
This review is for Timber Beard Oil. I've been using beard oil for a decade. I stopped shaving in 2014 and have rocked a beard ever since. I've gone through the gauntlet in my search for the best oil. I've tried dozens of brands, scents, creams, oils, you name it, I've tried it. Throughout all of that, there's been one that's stood above the rest for me. That's Timber Beard Oil by Mountaineer Brand. Nothing has smelled better, nothing has made my beard softer and even if you put a liberal amount on, it doesn't feel like it just rubs off on your hands throughout the day if you touch your beard.Nothing has stacked up against this oil, any time I've attempted to try another brand or scent, I'm always left wanting to go right back to Timber. It's stood above all the rest during my entire search. But besides this oil being the best, I've had to work with Mountaineer Brand customer service once and I have to say, their customer service is second to none. All companies should strive for their level of customer service excellence. They are extremely personable and are beyond willing to answer any questions and give a lot of great explanations. I just can't say enough good things about both the Timber Oil and Mountaineer Brand. Go with them, you won't be disappointed!

Decent
Okay I guess. Don't like the scent(peppermint), no dropper so the oil can get everywhere. Keeps beard hydrated for most of the day.

Great condition and fast delivery
Smells good and very useful for bearded fellas.

Its okay if you have no other choice
Honestly comparing it with other products I have used I will give it a 2 stars rating, the fragrance is not to my standard.

Great service, great value, softens beard, nice scent, what more could you want?
I will update my review if there is any negative changes from Day 1, but honestly I am shocked at how soft my beard became with just a single use. When I cracked the bottle open, I found that all I smelled was eucalyptus. Once applied it becomes a more balanced scent. I applied a good amount, and the scent is very faint and not overpowering at all. My wife is sensitive to aftershave normally, and now pregnant, meaning she has a stronger sense of smell, and she did not find it very strong, and liked the scent. So long as I am buying beard oil, this is the one! You cannot beat the price and cost! Great service as well.
