Ultra Portable Barefoot Sock Shoes for Women and Men YG02

So, I bought my first pair and instantly fell in love with them. I've worn barefoot shoes for close to seven years... I think.. honestly, time flies for me. Anyways, I've worn them non-stop. I even use them for work, and I work for hours on end on my feet walking, busting my butt all the time, and they're the best shoes I've worn when it comes to working. (Don't try this unless your feet are strong enough walking barefoot for hours.. WORKING. And you actually know how to walk CORRECTLY barefoot. Definitely not for beginners.) I even took them to Cali for vacation up in the mountains where it was snowing with very slippery and icy floors. Out of everyone in the family, I was the only one who didn't slip lmfao there was one time I almost did, but it's like I had enough grip to stay put. Kept my feet warm enough at least, I didn't really feel cold.. but I was also wearing socks, but they were wet in the end. I legit had a great time with them regardless. I've took them also to hike in, and it was great! And even to Disney, you can just imagine those long walks lol Came back to Miami where it's mad hot, and I wouldn't dare wear these without socks because since it's so hot my feet would easily sweat and sweaty feet and this material it has inside feels mad slippery and uncomfortable if you're sweating. But when I wear socks they're AMAZING, and I got stable footing again compared to when i was slippering in them sockless which honestly i think i almost injured myself because of the lack of stable footing. I always have people talking about them because they look like socks, and they say they look mad comfortable.. which by the way THEY ARE. I already had two of my home boys try them out cause they were mad curious, they loved them. So i bought them a pair each cause they're mad cheap and a extra pair for myself lol and now I see my homeboys wear them like crazy as well. I already do see the bottom starting to wear off from the use I put in for my first pair, but I'll be honest.. I really did put a beating on them like no joke... so In a sense I'm not surprised, but they're cheap so they're way worth it. I do have cats and a dog that shed like crazy, so when I first got these shoes they attracted ALL the hairs on the rubber parts, but as it gets used up they stopped sticking as much, and now they don't seem to stick at all except the top parts but easily can be taken off from the wooven parts. They do tend to smell after a while, but since I wear socks, I also wash them, and I take care of my feet and spray it against things like athletes foot, it's not a deal breaker for me because i dont allow it to get to bad smelling. I've also ran with these, felt good and i felt secure even with gravel, but mainly short runs. I've yet to try it for long distance running so I wouldn't know how they would hold up for something like that. I haven't even used my Vivobarefoot shoes since I got these. To me.. that's saying a lot because that's all I used to wear for years.

Product is “as advertised.” The average person will not use them for hiking, much less running (per se,) I wouldn’t, but walk the dog around the block - absolutely. To take the trash out to the street - most certainly. Wear around the house - most definitely. First and foremost, they are comfortable. I'm used to having orthotics in my athletic shoes. I have high arches, and at one time had fasciitis. If you're going to be on your feet a long time, you would miss not having any arch support and a soft liner. However, that's not what most people will wear them for. The quality of materials used is excellent. The entire bottom (and rounded up the sides, back and front) is what could best be described as sticky rubber-like material. There’s grip for sure if that’s what you’re look for. Don’t expect any support if that’s something you need. It’s completely flat inside and there’s no cushy insert or arch support. They are minimalistic. Stretchy at the top, (which is ankle high), they seal quite nicely around your ankle, but the smallish opening might, in some cases, present a challenge (putting on) if your feet are large. Also, I could see the tight fit being problematic for some elderly, unless you have assistance putting them on. Having said that, I’m seventy-three years young. The small inconvenience of putting them on is the “price of admission.” Believe it or not, I was looking for a sim-racing “shoe,” (lol). Google it if you don't know what sim racing is. Those types of shoes feature thin soles which give race drivers the tactile “foot touch” preferred for working gas, clutch and brake pedals. Those types of actual shoes are expensive. This product is reasonably (priced by comparison) and very much serves the same purpose. I believe they would be fine for walking along the beach, wading in mountain creeks, windsurfing or kite boarding. There is good flexibility all along the bottom, but the material is tough enough that you won’t feel smallish objects like pebbles, etc. like you would with bare feet. The negatives are indeed what you read in other reviews: They are warm, because of substantially thick material overall. They may not be the best for warm/hot climates, (summer in southern latitudes.) This is especially true if you want to wear socks rather than bare feet inside. Your feet will get hot and possibly smell in the summer months unless you're in the water with them. The good news is - they are washable, so odor shouldn't be an issue. Might help with vacuuming, lol, since the sticky, rubber-like soles will pick up hair and any particulates on your floor. You'll occasionally need to pull them off, but not a big deal. Most folks will want to wear them snug (less space for the toes compared to most shoes.) I might have been fine with a half-size larger. I think these sizes are pretty accurate for American standards. Note that the term “hospital socks” isn’t used in the first Amazon descriptions, probably because the implication of that term might dissuade some from purchasing these. Goofy, dorky and nerdy comes to mind but frankly I find they don’t standout at all as weird. That’s a subjective thing, however. That said, unless you wear your pjs and house slippers to Walmart, most folks won’t be wearing these out shopping. Even if you did, the average passerby wouldn’t probably notice your footwear. Worth noting, the brighter color mine draw attention. The grip is such that this footwear could cause one, especially the elderly, infirm or disabled to stumble. That type of fall might be just as harmful as a slip. Just saying … So far, only having had them for a few days, they are (IMO) good sim-racing shoes. No regrets.

I originally purchased a pair of these sock shoes from a company on Amazon by the name of Joomra. WHITIN was stamped big and bold on the sole of those Joomra’s, so I came here and purchased a pair of WHITINS, this review basically covers both of them. And why I came here. Too bad these don’t look as good as the Joomras, they certainly are more comfortable. Update: I did go purchase from the. Company logo on the bottom of these: WHITIN. I found the quality was not on par with these as the rubber has defects that are noticeable. However I am keeping them and returning these. Why? The WHITINS are easier to put on, though I purchased the exact same size, the WHITIN’S run a tad bit larger, making them easier to put on, and they aren’t so tight they become uncomfortable. So WHITIN. Wins. I’m sure they don’t care because they are obviously the same company selling under another name. These, the Joomra, however just look a bit better. I will take comfort over a few flaws in the rubber. I would guess my women’s 8 in WHITIN are closer to 8.5.. Original review: I bought a size 7 women’s. In these Joomra’s. They are really great feeling, the way they “hug” your foot, however they were too short. I returned & re-purchased an 8 women’s, this is where things got wonky. This pair (the 8) has some glue balls rolling around under the ball of my foot, like sand paper, it’s extremely irritating. I found I could barely get my foot through the opening, my ankles are only 9 inches and they were so tight, they hurt the front of my foot where it bends. I have yet another pair on order from the name on the bottom these, WHITIN. I must assume it’s the same company, different name, perhaps I will hit on the perfect pair. I don’t know. These are going back, after I receive the next pair. So hoping these will fit, the length on these 8’s are perfect. I have wide feet, I’m not a barefoot runner, or walker, but I have lived barefoot most of the pandemic. These are so comfy. I bought them for slippers, but ran outside in the snow briefly for a photo shoot. They are super grippy. I can’t wait to try them with my recumbent trike. They make your feet sweat. But the one that didn’t have glue balls rolling around in it was smooth and very comfortable. These are so inexpensive, I may buy at least two pair, so while one is being washed I can wear another. I do have other barefoot shoes, but none are as comfortable as these.

These things are tits! Couldn’t be happier! I would definitely recommend getting some! They leave your feet free and protect at the same damn time! Get em just do it!! 🤘🏼

I wear these even in winter and in the rain. • ZERO DROP SHOES - read up on barefoot walking and running. Especially if you have foot or ankle problems/injuries, barefoot walking can heal them. We use different muscle groups when we run barefoot vs in tennis shoes. With conventional shoes we heel strike with each stride, barefoot running we're on the balls of our feet the way nature intended and we've evolved for millions of years. Research "barefoot running." You must ease into it and the best way to start is by walking in these yoga shoes then slowly begin adding distance running in them. If you blister you're transitioning too fast. Healthiest thing you'll ever do for your feet. • FELT TOUCH - You can still get a bit of natural feel through these like, while protected, you can feel if you're walking on gravel. Our feet are sensory feedback machines. We're meant to walk barefoot because our feet are designed to give our bodies information about our environment. What are ground conditions? dry? slippery? gravel? It instinctively tells you're body how fast or slow you should be walking and prevents injuries. •Grounding and getting those healthy negative electrons from the earth only happens when we're barefoot with no rubber blocking our contact with the ground - unfortunately these shoes block that but they're easy to take off if you want to earth for a bit. •Washable: You can throw them in the washer and they hold up. Tip: if you have stinky feet put some Oxy powder with hot water in each bootie, shake and let sit for an hour or overnight before washing.

I ordered a mens size 11. It was too short, my toes are touching the ends. I'd say, for me, sizing is running at least a half-size small. I'll order a 12 size now, should be just about right then. Note: my feet are narrow & fits perfect, so if you have wide feet these might be problematic. I gave it a 3 star because of sizing problem, otherwise materials look good and it keeps feet warm enough.

Excellent for workout! I purchased these to wear just for rowing on my Hydrow, rebounding and at-home gym workouts. They are exactly what I was hoping for. They are soft and comfortable on top but protective on the sole and heel. Hey did fit a little big. I usually wear a 10 (women’s) but needed to size down to a 9.

These are excellent and exactly what I was looking for. They have outstanding grip, are QUIET (they don’t sound like flip flopping water shoes), and they provide *just* enough cushion to protect your feet from rough/sharp textures. I primarily wear them on my textured walking pad because I’m trying to get 10,000-15,000 steps per day, but I didn’t want to wear my athletic sneakers indoors all day every day. I’ve also walked the dog in these and they’re excellent for uneven terrain like dirt roads and grass, etc (pavement gets hard on my feet after a while so I’ll just wear the sneakers for that). I highly recommend these for around the house/treadmill/yard work or even light outdoor walks. I did NOT enjoy running in these, but YMMV

I love them as I have trouble with my feet due to multiple sclerosis. I usually need shoes that do up tight so they don't slip off. I have circulation problems in my feet too but I live being barefoot - these are amazing. I can feel the ground, they're grippy

But this, because of a review I read, and they were absolutely right. These are fantastic shoe socks. I wear them all the time, especially when I go camping. I used to bring other shoes when I went camping. Now I only bring these.

I changed into this pair of water shoes after getting mosquito bites through the holes from another pair of water shoes. I was worried how it feels walking on rock surfaces. No issues at all.

These fit and look perfect. The sole has a durable rubber that is flexible and meets my canoeing, whitewater kayaking and paddle boarding needs. They do let a bit of sand in when walking in the water along a sandy shoreline, but it is a minimal amount.
