**Q: Can these pumpkins be painted?**
A: Yes.

**Q: Are these white or more off white in color?**
A: I would call them a chalk white. Definitely not a bleached white or cream yellow-white.

**Q: will these float?**
A: The pumpkins are lightweight so initially, they probably would float; however, two issues to consider. This item is made of a foam composite, so it may absorb water after time. Secondly, the plastic stem is attached to the pumpkin through a hole on top. I strongly believe water will seep through that little hole and fill the hollow pumpkin with water.
