This works really well
I was a little leery because I grow valerian & it doesn't have that distinctive smell. And when I made tincture from it, it dissolved completely which I have never seen before either. But, it works. It works really well. And because it completely dissolves, there is no alcohol loss either. If you use a pint of vodka or whatever you prefer, you actually get a pint of tincture, which is usually a 30% loss. I use it as a muscle relaxer and it relieved my tight muscles, calmed me down and I slept all night through as any senior can tell you is a wonder in itself.

Bought this for my husband and he has no complaints and says it helps him get to sleep. I don't like that the bottle/jar is clear though, would prefer a dark jar to protect from light.

Helps you relax!
This product is not meant to "knock you out" like the toxic sleep aids out there. It is meant to work with your bodies natural chemicals to help you relax. I had trouble falling asleep/easing my mind, and also staying asleep and this has helped me SO much. I will continue to buy this product!

Allergic reaction and smells terribly strong
Allergic reaction. I take other brands of valerian with no issues. This one made me cough and caused allergic response. Made it impossible to sleep with heart racing and felt ill all night. I find this happens with the more smelly valerian. This one smells very bad. Like open as fast as you can, shut it, swallow quick, and wash hands bad. Most people have said it’s got to smell for it to work. In my experience, the really smelly valerian makes me sick or gives me a headache. Other brands that I have that don’t have that strong, nasty smell and seem to work better at helping me sleep and relax. So I’m not sure if I agree with the smellier the better with valerian lol. Perhaps smelly just means not formulated the right way. Idk, but this one’s a NO!
