Expensive Disappointment
This sailors palm is a disappointment. Very expensive! This picture shows large leather protection for the thumb - as delivered the thumb protection is minimal. Really false advertising! I would NOT recommend this. I will do better modifying an inexpensive palm.

It is a tool for a professional sailmaker. A tool he buys once and lasts his working career. It is very heavy duty and requires a "breakin" and adjustment to your hand. It's amazing a product like this is still made new and can be purchased in the 21st Century,
