If you keep up with application, it is very effective. I spray every few days and after rain, and rodents and even deer stay away from my tulips, lilies and fruit trees. Most effective if you begin early so animals are repelled before they even realize there is something good to eat. And the smell is very nice. Warning, the product cannot work effectively if you don't keep up with spraying. I apply it every other day. The mice that gnawed at night inside my bedroom wall have stopped coming after I sprayed this along the wall and baseboard. They seem to abhor it! I was never able to get the pump going, after removing the little filter cap and shaking the canister and pumping while holding the canister high and the sprayer nozzle low, so I added it to a smaller spray bottle which works just fine and is easier to carry around. I’ll just get the refill jug next time. Works as well as expected.I will say, do not by the version with the sprayer. The sprayer itself is worthless. Even after priming it failed to spray. I finally gave up and set the bottle down. An hour later half the bottle had been siphoned out on to the ground.If the sprayer works for you great, but remove it before storing.The manufacturer seems to be aware the sprayer dosnt work well. They include a note with some instructions to try to get it working.I do not like buying garbage and the included spayer that you pay extra for is just that.
