Is there a way to adjust the distance of the handbrake lever to the handle bar? My sons hands can clasp it safely and the screw on the side doesnt do

There is a reach adjustment screw which is a small phillips screw. That'll move that lever closer and further away from the handelbar. Thanks.

It says this typically ships within 1 to 2 months. How soon should I expect this item to actually ship and will it really take up to 2 months?

I ordered when it was in stock showed up within 3 days. It could take the whole 2 months, as shipping sucks lately and also the 18" bike has been backordered in multiple brands for a while now.

Can u put a bigger seat on it so it’s easier to sit and pedal?

I would say so. It’s a skinny seat for tricks my grandson said. He’s 9. Lol
