Pearl Izumi Men's Select Short Sleeve Quest Jersey

First, the only complaint. When I open the package and put on the jersey for the first time, it was looser than expected. Every jersey I own is a medium and the fit in the shoulders was perfect--medium was the correct size. The problem was the expectation based on the the description of "semi-form fit." it has a more relaxed fit than any of my jerseys with the exception of my mountain bike specific jerseys. In addition to being loose, it is noticeably longer than my other jerseys. (As a point of reference, I am 5'9" and weigh 145 lbs.) That is the only complaint. I took the jersey out for a test run today and was pleasantly surprised. I ride in the desert southwest where it is hot and dry. It took a minute or two to just used to my jersey flapping a little, but once adjusted I was very pleased. The jersey wicks the moisture very effectively and kept me cool for the whole ride. I have always thought a tighter jersey was more effective at wicking away moisture than a looser one, but after wearing this jersey I may have to re-think my position. Bottom line--a very good jersey at a very reasonable price. In fact, I just ordered another one in a different color.

I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs. Size small fit like a well tailored shirt - not skin tight, not at all baggy, form fitting and perfect. The construction seems high quality (especially for the price). Many rides and washings and no sign of wear. The sleeves fall above the bicep so there's less stuff to chaff and annoy. Like the cut of this jersey a whole lot. For what it's worth (subjective as it is) I like the styling very much as well. Sleek, simple with different color flashes on the shoulder. Finish on the product is well thought out. Rubber ring at the waist does it's job. Zipper zips (one handed). Has ample and well placed reflective surfaces. Will buy again.

Nice jersey, quite comfortable and very breathable. However, the waistband does not fit snug to your body. If you aren't carrying much, this isn't that big of a deal. But when you are carrying a phone, spare tube, food, etc. it can draw down the back of your shirt down and pull around the front of your neck. It's not a huge discomfort, but you may need to readjust every once in a while.

I'm 5'11", 195 and have broad shoulders and a 44" chest due to weight lifting for the past 30+ years. My usual shirt size is L. I read the other reviews and they are spot-on. An XL fits perfectly in the shoulders and chest while being slightly fitted in the body. You won't feel like a squeezed piece of meat in tight cellophane wearing this item. I also don't want a bicycle shirt to scream "I'm a tool." This shirt does the trick as it's a solid one color with different colors on the shoulders only. The shoulder colors compliment the solid shirt well. It's a more conservative bicycle shirt. The shirt is so nice that I bought four different colors. The shirt back has three pockets, is not too long and the fabric wicks away moisture with ease. I do find pockets with zippers in some running shirts. I'd like future models to have a zipper on at least one of the back pockets as I'm usually concerned items will fall out.

At the right price, it's a good deal. My main complaint are the sleeves are not fitted at the cuff so they catch air and wind. Now if I had bigger biceps and triceps OR if the jersey had elastic cuffs on the sleeves we would be up to four stars. Also, I didn't appreciate a full length zipper enough before ordering this jersey. Not a show stopper; yet, when I'm tired and wet and try to take it off a full length zipper would be nice. Makes for an OK beginner or training jersey. I bought it primarily for the bright color so I would stand out in traffic and the price. In the future will buy jerseys with tight sleeves and a full length zipper.

I'll give it 4 stars based on fit...might upgrade that after a ride. I am 6'4 245 and I bought the XXL...the fit is very good...not too tight and plenty long enough (and I have a long torso). Quite comfortable when I tried it on. I Pearl Izumi shorts and gloves and long sleeved jersey and I am very pleased with all of those, so I fully expect that this will be just as good. Upgrade time. The weather warmed up nicely and I've worn it for two rides. Wicks away sweat and is very comfortable on long rides. I might buy a second because it never hurts to have more than one of a good thing.

Writing this review after clocking more than 250 kms on my bike. The fit was perfect, initially worried that the size would run a size smaller than what i have ordered.Then after wearing it,the doubts slowly faded away giving way to a mild surprise. The jersey wicks away the sweat as quickly as it accumalates. So,Count me among the countless fans of Pearl izumi merchandise. Overall a gr8 product&an effortless service both from Amazon and as well as from the seller,especially me ordering it from india.

Love the color and the feel. Typical high quality Pearl Izumi product. Sharp design - I get many compliments! Fits well - I'm a small framed but solid guy (5'6", 160 lbs, 38" chest) and purchased a medium, which I typically do for bike jerseys, so the fit was as expected. Bought two more, I liked it so much.

Nice jersey at a nice price, I'm 6' 3" 190lbs 42" chest ordered large which is a good touring fit, not snug, works for me

Great jersey for road cycling. Thicker than the usual tops with some stretch. A real bargain at the price I paid.

Fits perfectly, very comfortable, quality stitching and material. Would likely buy more.

Das Teil ist nicht hauteng geschnitten, was meiner Figur zu Gute kommt. Für meine Gr. 50 passt mir L sehr gut. Nicht destotrotz schaut das Trikot immer noch sportlich aus. Qualität ist natürlich topp.
