Bare minimal protection for a little too much money
Someone else's comparison to the material of a straw is really not that far off. It is crazy thin. Basically like having a skin on your phone but in one piece that isn't adhered to the device. Honestly it's not that bad. I just wanted some sort of case to protect the back glass from dropping it on the table or setting it down on questionable surfaces - and this does just that. The area around the camera sticks out JUST enough to be slightly taller than the camera bump - maybe 0.5mm - so you'll get some protection there. The cutouts are dead on (even the individual speaker cutouts on the bottom are basically perfect). The material is not that grippy but it's not as slippery as the glass back is on its own. It's honestly a decent case if you want absolute minimal protection from your pocket and tables and stuff. I do not expect this thing to protect the phone at all in a drop - but it would be better than nothing. The only reason I dropped a star is because it should be cheaper. Given there are much nicer cases with far more material for less money, this case should probably be about $8... maybe $9. More than that and it's not really worth it for the amount of protection.

Rare Miss Spigen
I wanted the reviewers to be wrong about this case. For everyone complaining about protection.....seriously? It's an "Air Skin" meant for those that want some basic scratch protection and grip so read about the case before purchasing don't 1-star the case for you not understanding the intent of the product. Now to the legitimate complaints about alignment and quality, I agree. Much like other reviewers, last year I bought a Spigen Air Skin for iPhone 6S that I still have and there's a huge difference in quality and fit. My camera cutout is "off," not by much but enough to notice a gap below the camera and almost covering the camera on top. One of the beauties of the 6S case is that there were no noticeable edges. The iPhone 7 version has template edges all over the place making it feel cheap and edgy in the hand. I want so badly to use my 6S version on my 7 but the cameras are different sizes. When I buy a new phone, Spigen is my first stop and I buy a minimum of 5 cases for different occasions. I'm incredibly disappointed in the quality of the product. I know often times I have heard of Spigen halting sales to recalibrate their design so I hope that they do that in this case and roll out a version 2 (or 3) but I have to say that at least my case is a definite "don't buy." Sorry Spigen you guys fell short on this one, a rare miss.

Would be a great case if the edges weren't bent
I owned this case for the iPhone 6 and have been using it for the last two years. I really liked it, which is why I ordered the same case for the iPhone 7. When I received the case the edges were bent, leaving white creases as you can see in the images below. This is disappointing because if I return it for a refund I won't be able to get another one until October, because they're back ordered, so my phone will be unprotected for weeks. I'm not sure if I'm going to return it and wait for another case or just live with the crease marks on the edges. Or I will get another case, altogether.Update (9/27/16): After posting this review, Spigen reached out to me and offered to send me another case they had in stock that I could use until this case was back in stock. That ended up not being necessary because this case became available again so I was able to return the previous one and order a new one. The new one arrived without any issues. I was impressed with Spigen's willingness to satisfy my concerns about my experience with their product.

Case doesn't fit around the Camera
When this case first snapped onto my new iPhone 7, I was excited. It had a nice snap. Then after closer inspection, the case doesn't actually fit properly. Maybe they let the intern design this one. The hole for the camera does not account for the bump so the case flexes up. The Camera hole also isn't centered over the camera either. So the entire back of the case gets lifted off the back of the phone so your phone feel thicker in you hand- not what you want when you get this super slim case.I will be returning this case when my new one arrives. I would not buy this again nor would I recommend this case to anyone.Does it protect the phone? Technically, yes. It will protect it as much as any slim case. But it will probably wear the color finish off of the top left side of the camera bump. Also, it's worth noting the color/finish isn't very nice. It just comes across as cheap. My iPhone 6 was in a different brand's slim case and it was much nicer. That case was a smokey black with a little transparency-felt much nicer for the same price. Hopefully they release an iPhone 7 case soon.

The quality of this case for iPhone 7 however is not as good as iPhone 6 or 6S
I've been a fan of Spigen Air Skin cases - got them for both iPhone 6 and 6S. They provide very little protection but they protect the back from scratchers and help with gripping the phone which is what I want. The quality of this case for iPhone 7 however is not as good as iPhone 6 or 6S. It looks pretty good on a Matt black iPhone 7, as advertised and it fits fairly well too, however it has sharp edges which are not pleasant to touch. I'm considering returning the case until Spigen can match the fine quality of the Air Skin case for iPhone 6S. I would give it 2.5 stars but that's not an option so I'm giving 3 stars.

One of the thinnest, if not the thinnest...
...been looking for the thinnest possible and quality made case out there. Spigen has to be in one's top 3 ideas where to go and look for. The case is really as they say, just like a phone's skin. Protects what it's made to protect from - scratches, minor bumps, etc. Looks perfect, does not interfere with the iPhone's beautiful lines and looks. Recommended for anyone looking for the thinnest possible case. This is the perfect case if you don't want to "double" the size of your iPhone just to have it somewhat protected.

Very slim, great fit.
Had a Spigen case on my iPhone 6 for 2 years and it’s stayed immaculate so went with the same brand again for my new iPhone 7. Have to say it’s a perfect fit. If you need a case to protect your phone should you drop it then this isn’t the one for you however why are people buying a case described as super thin then complaining it doesn’t protect from a drop. Once fitted this doesn’t feel like a case, it’s like the original phone back. The fitting around the camera lens is very good as it protrudes and offers descreeet protection for the camera. If you don’t want to add bulk to your phone then this is ideal. My main need for a case is to stop the case getting scratched which my previous case did for my iPhone 6 which boosts it resale price considerably.

Brilliant, thin case!
Bought for my boyfriend as he upgraded to a new iPhone 7.He is really happy with the case and isn't worried about his new phone slipping out his hand. The case is very thin and he was worried it would be bulky as he also has a tempered glass screen protector. The case doesn't interfere with the screen or any of the buttons and he loves it!Highly recommended!

Excellent fit, really slim and un-obtrusive
Great cover, really slim and almost feels like the original "naked" iphone. All the cut-outs are in exactly the right place and it fits the phone really securely. The only gripe is that the front edge of the cover is slightly higher than the front of the phone and you can feel the hard plastic edge, but other than that it's great and a lot better than the ugly/chunky covers out there.

Great concept, poor execution.
I have used this case for approximately 6 months. It looks really good, but its performance is poor. The case does not fit the iPhone 7 very well. The camera cut out is not aligned properly, resulting in dust and other debris from entering the back of the case. This may lead to some scratches on your device if the debris are sharp (which happened to mine). Furthermore, when you repeatedly remove the case to clean it (which you will do quite often), it loses some structural integrity meaning it fits worse than to start with. This leaves a nice bulge around the volume buttons to allow more dirt behind the case. The concept of the case is brilliant, but the execution is poor. Maybe more prototype testing before release would have addressed these issues.

there are a couple of things I did not like which were a disappointment to me
Looks very slick on my i7 black. However, there are a couple of things I did not like which were a disappointment to me.It's slippery, almost as much as the phone without the case. Considering this case offers almost no protection for being so thin, being slippery makes it dangerous.Secondly, the edge around the screen is very sharp, which makes it uncomfortable.
