I keep coming back to this book! It’s inspired my art and inspired so many new theories and thoughts. At first I saw Dostoevsky and The Underground man and the same, mostly because he is the narrator and the author, but when I read it again and separated the two it’s a whole different story. A commentary

I read this for my book club: this excellent translation is sending me back to all of the Russian greats, as long as they're translated by these two!
