This says that you can carbonate anything, contrary to Sodastream... What is the physical difference that allows that...

Soadastream shoots the CO2 straight into the bottle and there is a rubber gasket that pushes against the opening to keep the liquid and carbonation in...the problem is carbonating anything but water is too much carbonation and pressure and it will shoot out and all over. The DrinkMate has an infuser cap where you put the cap onto the bottle and then it shoots the C02 THROUGH the lid. This allows it to contain much more pressure without it overflowing. Then you take the bottom with infuser lid still on it off the unit and there flip the sliver cap which releases pressure a tiny bit at time. The "secret" really is all in the infuser cap.

What size bottle is included?

28-32oz. The lines on the side stop at 28oz but it can fill a 32oz canning jar to the top from the max fill line on the bottle.

Just got it home..watched videos and read the booklet... First use a disaster..carbonating button sticks wide open...any suggestions?

They're available on Amazon, and there are 2 different sizes. I think Drinkmate also has their own store, but I'm not sure.
