Radio gets fantastic reception. Picks up all my favorite radio stations. The weather feature is a nice bonus. Sound is very clear and powerful audio range. The radio is easy to use, the dial is easy to see. I like the MP3 adaptability. It runs on battery or electricity. Very portable and lightweight. Would be great for home, camping, the beach - wherever you may want a radio. Looks nice, good size and lightweight but not flimsy. Nice clean lines - looks nice and works great.

I owned this radio for many years and loved it since it was the only one that I could take to the woods and could get stations and weather clearly. After it broke this past year I ordered another one - when it arrived I noticed the dial was very hard to turn the frequency selected didn't match what I wanted. So I returned it and ordered it again from another seller -- the dial worked fine but the analog settings were awful. If I wanted to play FM station 96, you had to set the dial to 92...…..the settings are way off. At first I thought I received a bad radio (it happens) but when the second one arrived and had the same issue, I knew then it was not a fluke. It's also being returned. If you don't care the analog slide is way off, it's a good radio but if you're out of town and unfamiliar with the local stations, it's not worth it. Spend the extra money and get something else.

Good product. Sound is okay. Case is made of hard plastic, take care against to dropping on hard floors. The case can brake the case. In conclusion try to hold the radio firmly.

I have this portable radio for myself and my son is always borrowing it to bring out by the pool. His birthday is this month so I decided to buy him his own. Now I have several other similar portable radios but non work as well as this one. I could have purchased a less expensive radio but why take the chance when this one is small, lite weight, tunes in nicely and has a very good battery life. Well worth the money.

This is exactly what I wanted. it is small, light and works great with batteries or elec. One negative is that, there is no where to store the cord if you use it with batteries. The cord storage area is also where you load the batteries, so you have to store cord elsewhere and then remember where you put it. This light radio is a real heavyweight though. It has gone to the beach, been transported to colleges and back and just keeps on working. it is well worth the money. AM/FM and weather radio.
