I have the Samsung G9 and cheaped out on a monitor arm the first time around. It just couldn't hold the monitors weight and constantly tilted down and took forever to get back into the exact perfect spot to stay up again.This one however holds it up without an struggle. You can tell it's much higher quality and very robust. The springs in it are HUGE and well greased.The cable routing has reusable velcro style loops which I really like.It was also very easy to mount to monitor onto as a single person. You attach a backplate to the vesa mount on the monitor and then the backplate slides into the monitor arm.If you've ever tried to hold a 12kg monitor up to a hole and screw it in at the same time you know the pain lol. You don't have to do that with this oneIt is quite expensive. You can get a monitor arm for £50 but it wouldn't be anywhere near as good as this one

What can I say, soon found out what I was paying for. Having bought a different so called heavy duty arm for My Samsung CRG9 that failed miserably when it came to adjusting tilt because it just could not take the weight.I opted to take the plunge and buy the Ergotron HX HD. This arm is a monster so much so I have not really had to adjust anything due to the strength of this arm. It's extremely well built solid cast metal, and not flimsy like some of the other arms on the market, it is also straight forward to assemble.I highly recommended this arm if you have a heavy Ultrawide screen monitor, your jaw will drop if you have had other arms previously when you first take it out of its packaging. 5* all round from Me.

This is an awesome monitor arm I've used others in the past but this one was by far the best. It supports my Samsung 49-inch CRG9 and I can rotate and adjust the monitor to the height I need it to be whether I am working or gaming. The monitor feels secure on the mount and the arm adjustment is not at its max setting so I'm sure it can handle additional weight.Ergotron has been a great company to use and I will not be buying any other brand of stand in the future.

Tension springs are far from fully adjusted and it supports my Samsung C49RG9x 49” monitor weighing 11.6 kg with no problems. Easy to assemble, mount monitor and adjust.

Not much to say here, big and hefty compared to the ones that are designed for smaller lighter displays.Have this holding up my Asus PG42UQ with zero issues.Pros- Solid construction- Good support- All tools provided to install- Good cable management - just make sure you have cables long enough! :)Cons- Will take 2 people to potentially drop the monitor on depending on size/weight- A little stiff to move the display around - my mistake (was a too tight on the tension, loosened it a little and its fine now)Can't go wrong if you know you have to support something quite big and weighty.

From reading A LOT of blogs and watching videos, I thought trying to find a mount for my G95NC was impossible (at the moment).I decided to get this, thinking I would need to jam the spring in my preferred position in the tilt forwards/backwards, as other reviews said it wouldn't hold. No big deal as I don't use that anyway.It arrived, I set it up and tried to tighten the spring as much as possible but I literally couldn't as it was already at maximum. Placed the screen on and it held ! Again, other reviews said next day it had fallen forwards but after 2 weeks, it's been great ! It does feel like it's right on the limit, balance wise, but I haven't had to re-adjust it at all - fingers crossed it'll stay that way :)Otherwise, it's really easy to put together. The G95NC is bloody big so getting it onto the mount is never going to be easy but the system they use where you fix the VESA to the screen and 'slot' it onto the arm is really good. I did it myself although if you have help available, I would recommend you use it.The manufacturers commented on one post I saw to say they were working to develop it so it could manage this screen so I can't vouch for it entirely. I might have just gotten lucky.My experience has been brilliant.Obviously it's quite expensive but if you've used arms before, you know how much difference it makes to your desk.

Solid buils quality, aluminium chassis which is evident with the weight of the arm. Using this with a 42inch OLED which doesn't actually support the arm as it's too light but with some adjustments in screws it's holding everything together with the tilt function enabled and easily swivels to different positions.If your spending extravagant amounts on a monitor it makes sense to ensure it's secure, so even though it's an expensive item for support it's a buy once, cry once scenario does what it says on the tin.

Product I very well made and feels very sturdy. Good adjustment on base I believe it should fit most desk thicknesses. Quality of the metals used feels very good. Overall it gives you good assurance when mounting my 49inch ultra monitor.

J’ai perdu des mois à acheter des bras, des poteaux de support écrans, j’avais 4 écrans à l’époque. Rien ne convenait. J’ai passé le cap et ai acheté un Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 de 49 pouces, donc assez lourd et imposant et là je n’avais pas le choix, seul l’Ergotron HX le supporterait. Ça coûte un bras, sans jeu de mot, mais quel bonheur. Je précise qu’il faut acheter le supplément de fixation vendu aussi sur Amazon pour supporter un écran si lourd pour qu’il ne pique pas du nez. L’Ergotron HX est vendu, et c’est même marqué sur la boîte que le support pour écran loud est vendu avec mais apparemment, bien qu’il fasse exactement le même poids et ait la même forme que l’accessoire supplémentaire, ce ne sont pas les mêmes. Sans doute une question de taraudage du ressort. C’est extrêmement puissant. Écran monté avec un système de grommet qui traverse le bureau (d’une épaisseur de 2 cm mais j’ai préféré remettre un tasseau par en dessous pour rigidifier). Il faut quand même être à deux pour le monter bien que j’ai vu de vendeurs asiatiques montant ça tout seul sans le moindre effort. Produit parfait, finition extra. Le taraudage des vis est exemplaire. Une fois tout en place c’est assez fabuleux, l’écran, bien qu’au bout du bras étendu au maximum (presque 60 cm) ne bouge absolument pas. C’est prodigieux moi qui ai a connu d’autre produits supportant des charges moins lourdes. Le pivotement de l’écran se fait presque d’un doigt et d’après les vidéos de vendeurs c’est faisable, il suffit de bien régler le bras. Les range-câbles sont prévus, c’est le rêve. Bref pour ceux qui ont un écran géant comme le Samsung Odyssey (qui coûte plus de 1200 €), n’hésitez pas, prenez ce qu’il y a de mieux pour le maintenir, c’est à dire ce produit. De plus cela me permet de placer l’écran à une distance raisonnable pour faire de la bureautique et de le rapprocher au bord du bureau pour faire du Simracing. Parfait je vous dis.Il n’y a plus qu’à économiser un peu.

Not sure if it was on amazon, or on a YT review, but I remember seeing a comment about this arm saying it felt like you could mount a weapon on it. Well yeah, it does feel like that.This thing is heavy, and feels very well made. Holds the G9 in place and doesn't sag over time (you will need to adjust the tension depending on how you want it setup).But there are 2 little things that bothered me:#1) Even if you push the pin straight down for the 2 arm segments. Once you put the odyssey on it, there will be a finger nail thick gap that will appear opposite the weight. Which makes sense, even if you screw in the bolt to hold the pin down, it'll still rock the tinniest amount with the weight of the g9.Why does this bother me though? Because in the manual they show that if you see a gap when you mount an arm segment you need to redo it. I was 100% sure that before putting on the monitor I had tightened both security screws for each segment, and made sure the pins were fully inserted before doing so. It looked fine before putting the G9 on it.Anyway, after some unecessary concern. I looked up ergotron's assembply/setup video. And I managed to see the same fingernail thick gap on their arm.So if you get the arm to make sure the pins are fully inserted, and the bolt tightened. But if you do end up seeing a little gap when putting on the G9. It appears to be normal.#2) With a monitor of this size it's a bit inevitable. But even those the monitor will not move up or down well left alone. If you are a frantic typist like me, you will still manage to get some wobble. Obviously your desk will play a huge role with this. If it's a corner desk drilled into your wall. But I have a 2 leg stand up desk, and when I'm typing fast, I can notice the corners of the screens wiggling a bit.

Installato questo braccio per sostenere un C49RG90 (Samsung da 49''). Struttura davvero solida che assicura di tenere bene il peso di questo grande monitor. Ogni snodo è regolabile in tensione e/o resistenza, pertanto si riesce a calibrarlo affinché il movimento sia ben fluido in ogni direzione e senza che si sposti una volta posizionato.Rispetto allo stand stock, ora riesco a posizionare il monitor esattamente nel punto più ergonomico a secondo di come mi posiziono, in alto, in basso, a destra, a sinistra.. in pratica lo si può posizionare ovunque e con qualunque orientamento nel raggio d'azione del braccio. Lo stand stock era inoltre troppo basso per la mia postazione, ed occupava la scrivania con la sua base di 60x33 cm che ora posso usare per altro. Bene anche il cable management che consente di far "scivolare" tutti i cavi dal monitor al bordo della scrivania (nel mio caso 2x cavi DP, 5xUSB e l''Alimentazione). Fate solo attenzione che potrebbero servirvi cavi più lunghi di prima, nel mio caso il cavo che collegava via USB PC all'hub del Monitor (che era quello stock), ho dovuto sostituirlo con uno più lungo.Sicuramente costoso, ma vale i soldi spesi vista la migliore ergonomia.
