Gelid Solutions Extreme Heat Conducting Paste Syringe 1g Easy to Use for CPU/VGA/Chipset Heatsink Award Winner

Thermal paste is of good quality for its low price. After cleaning heatsink and applying this thermal paste, my CPU & GPU temps dropped to 75-80°C on heavy gaming where as earlier it used to exceed 90°C and made my laptop lag a lot. Paste lasted 1 year before needing to be applied again. The spatula provided made it easy to apply too. Highly recommended for normal laptops & budget gaming laptops.

I bought this for my Dell G5 5505 laptop and this laptop is notorious for running hot. The CPU and GPU both average around 89-91 C when gaming which isn't ideal. Driver timeouts and crashes were very common. Upon opening the heatsink I found copious amount of thermal grease both on the CPU and GPU both which isn't ideal. In fact, the heatsink too had excess grease sticking out. After cleaning it all and applying the adequate amount of Gelid GC Extreme I immediately noticed the difference. CPU no longer stays above 90 C for longer duration. It only reaches that high for a second when the game loads up and the laptop is stressed. Else, it stays comfortable below 85 C. The GPU never touches 80 C. At last I'll say this Thermal Paste is perfect for this laptop. It does the job perfectly. That's all I'll say. Also kudos to Dell for making this laptop easy to open and service.

After researching about the pump-out effect observed in Arctic MX-4 and Thermal Grizzly, I went ahead to buy GELID GC Extreme due to its high density and thick nature. I'd say this is the only paste you should buy for your gaming laptop. The temperatures on my Acer Nitro 5 (Ryzen 5 2500U/RX560X 4GB/16GB) were as follows: Temperatures Before: Hovers around 83-89 degree Celsius. After: Never goes above 74 degree Celsius no matter what. RDR2 (pictures attached) Before: 25-27 FPS game play with frame drops every 2 minutes to 12-15 FPS. After: Smooth gameplay with 30-40 FPS. CPU Before: Used to stuck at 1.6Ghz and barely ever went beyond 2.0Ghz. After: Never goes below 2.0Ghz and goes till 3.2Ghz when under stress (turbo boost). Benchmark scores improved by a lot, Firemark was way smoother, Cinebench (pictures attached) was improved enormously and the laptop is all cool and good. I'd say going for the 3.5g tube would be a better investment if you plan to re-paste every year (that you should though). I've just applied the paste 7-8 hours ago and will update this review with time. Peace!

I ordered this after a service person used a generic thermal paste on my OMEN and it was running hot as hell. Just after it was delivered, I was easily able to repaste with the help of the included spreader and Now my OMEN doesn't even cross 85 degree celsius. Turbo Boost power has increased to around 90Watts (Stock factory thermal paste allowed only around 82Watts). This is a must buy for any PC Enthusiast on a budget, in India especially. The Cinebench R23 score has increased dramatically (although an undervolt was needed of -75mVolts). The fans don't even ramp up more often. PS - Those who want to repaste please follow the required instructions or you can damage your system. I watcheda lot LTT videos and carefully learned how to apply the paste.

I'll update after one month in terms of performance and average temperature difference. All review keep praising same words make me wonder if they are genuine or not

Help me to reduce temps of my laptop cpu and gpu.

I have used this paste in my hp pavilion 15 1024ax Ryzen 5 4600h ,GTX 1650 gddr6,8gb ram. I was using it from 10 month and it started thermal throttling during cinebench r20 and aida64 stress test. I scored 2700points in cinebench r20 test and temperature of cpu during reached upto 100degrees . But after applying this thermal paste my laptop temp decreased from 100 degrees to 83 degrees Celsius during stress test and it scored 3300 in cinebench r20. This is best paste under budget. You can use upto 2times on gaming laptops. Please don't buy thermal grizzly kryonaut because it is not very thick ,and it is very costly. Now my laptop temps doesn't increases above 80degrees in gta5, watchdog's 2, rocket league. This is best thermal paste for Amd Ryzen processor.

My idle cpu temp before applying this was 35 now its idle around 45 Celsius also in cinebence benchmark before this was 85 Celsius during max load now its 98 hitting the danger zone . Dont buy this if you want to protect your hardware just buy noctua much better than this.

Thermal paste was used to repaste an overheating gaming laptop (ASUS GX531GM) back in April 2022. This lowered the temps of the CPU from 90-95 to 70-75 and the temps of the GPU from 75-80 to 55-60. Idle temps on the CPU are around 35-40. I was honestly surprised at the results, particularly on the GPU. The temperatures on the CPU could be even lower with undervolting but undervolting is locked for my laptop. 1g of the thermal paste was more than enough for my laptop using the thin line method; however, the 1060 has a small die surface so for newer laptop GPUs a larger amount may be needed. As of writing this review, the temperatures of my laptop have stayed around the same, indicating that this thermal paste does not suffer from the pump-out effect. Highly recommended for laptop users.

Habe diese Wärmeleitpaste mittlerweile bei zwei meiner Macbook Pro's und einer Playstation verwendet. Auf den Macbooks kann ich aufjedenfall sagen das die Temperatur unter Belastung sich um 10-14° unterscheidet. Wenn die Wärmeleitpaste schon alt ist!, ist dies ein guter Ersatz für die originale. Einfach aufzutragen und gut in der Leistung. Meine Geräte: Apple MBP Unibody 2010: 14° Temperaturunterschied bei normalem Betrieb. 68° vorher, 43° nach Tausch / 82° bei Leistung, nun 68-70° Apple MBP Retina 2013: 11° Temperaturunterschied bei normalem Betrieb. 52° vorher, 40,6° nach Tausch / 70° bei Leistung, nun 56-62° Fazit: einfach aufzutragen, gut verpackt und gerade für ältere Wärmeleitpasten ein guter Ersatz um frischen Speed in ein Notebook oder Computer zu bekommen. Beim Auftragen und dem zerlegen des Gerätes vorsichtig sein! Anleitungen gibt es im Internet jeh nach Hersteller.
