The lid is expensive for what it is but it seems to be good quality and is useful. With the British weather there is often a risk of rain after using the stove but before it's cool enough for the cover. This lid stops the ashes becoming a wet mess that would be hard to clean out.

Fits perfect, great as a table top.

Feel a lot more comfortable when I can put this over embers at the end of an evening sitting by our Solostove. Guarantees against stray sparks when time for bed. Peace of mind sorted

It's a very expensive lid. It should have come with the Solo Stove, but no, you have to buy it separately. What more can you say about a lid? It functions well as a lid. It covers the Solo Stove. It just sits on top. No clips, magnets or other fastenings. Nope. It just 'sits' there. It is a very expensive piece of pressed metal. No moving parts - so I guess there is very little to break, which in turn should mean you get a lifetime of reliable service. But, it is, just a lid. A very expensive lid. Alternative uses... I suppose you could throw it like a frisbee, take some blurry photo's and claim to have seen a UFO. But it is an expensive way to go about it. I am sure you would be able to find a cheaper UFO alternative that use an expensive Solo lid. So, in summary, yes it is a Solo Stove lid that works very well for the purpose intended - it is just an expensive lid.

I think the title says it all. The lid fits the Ranger fire pit perfectly but it is without a doubt too expensive for what it is.

Der Deckel ist stabil und hochwertig verarbeitet. Er passt perfekt auf unseren Solo Stove und schützt vor Regen, Wind etc. , man kann den Solo Stove so auch als kleinen Tisch benutzen. Über den Preis könnte man diskutieren, aber der Ofen an sich ist ja schon eine teure Anschaffung. Insgesamt finde ich Preis-Leistung (noch) ok, da der Deckel wirklich eine schwere Qualität hat. Auch nach Auflegen auf den noch warmen Ofen (nicht brennend!) hat sich nichts verzogen, das hat mich positiv überrascht!
