These are fantastic and strong.I tried other brands, but they didnt last nearly as long or even snapped whilst doing my daughter’s hair.

I almost never write Amazon reviews, but came to say that I purchased this tub of hair ties more than 6 years ago at this point, finally getting to the bottom of the jar, and even with the time they still work as GREAT as day 1! I French braid my hair often typically double French braid, and even with using two at a time this tub has lasted for YEARS. They have the perfect amount of stretch without breaking, they are easy to remove as well. When swimming in chlorinated pools, or the ocean, bring a spare or two just in case, as I have noticed that they do occasionally (not every time) break after a few hours of either, but for the most part they last for all day long wear - hence why I have still given them 5 stars. Just purchased my second tub today!

The review is for the product itself, even though they’re definitely not usable for the intended application (braid-in extensions).Really great value for the amount. The plastic storage tub is great with the twisty lid so they don’t end up everywhere. Nice and stretchy. They’re great for doing a daily or special occasion styles.They are NOT heavy duty though if you’re intending to keep them in long term for securing hair extensions for braids or locs.
