Super fast delivery with Prime! Ordered late Sunday evening, arrived early Wednesday morning... just in time for camping this weekend. This pad is more than I could have hoped for. It is thoughtfully designed, exceptionally well made, and extremely durable. The cover is removable for washing, if necessary, (I haven't needed to do that as yet) and the XXL pad is large enough (width and length) for a big guy like me (6 foot, 300lbs). It's comfortable enough to use right on the ground or floor and even has a built-in pillow pouch to keep your head-rest from wandering off in the middle of the night. The pad rolls up easily with a sturdy, but light, built-in roller bar and has rugged tie-down straps and carry handle sewn into the cover. The company must have some Eagle Scouts working on their team, or at least enough frustrated, sleep-deprived campers who wanted to build a better mousetrap... because they've done it marvelously with this unit. This is one heavy-duty sleeping pad intended for drive-in camping (definitely not for backpacking). Once the XXL cot arrives (which this pad cleverly attaches to with bungee loops at each of the corners) I have no doubt the combo will be even more impressive; both out in the bush or when an extra bed is needed in our small home. This is a definite WINNER!

I give this camp pad 5 stars for quality and how well it fits my Teton cot. I give it 2 stars for being so expensive, after all it is still just a foam pad with a nice cover over it. That said I knew the price when I bought it so it still gets the official 5 star rating. This pad along with the large Teton cot is a great combination and very comfortable to sleep on.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased the Teton XXL cot, so I had to have the Teton XXL pad to match. It fits perfectly. It has a zipper to access the pad for cleaning or replacing. It also has a zippered compartment for a pillow. The roll up stick is removable. You can remove the stick and pad so you can wash the cover. The size is roomy. The pad is easy to roll up with the provided stick. It's very comfortable to sleep on. Very durable material and well made. The coard loops on the corners keep the pad in place while you sleep. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great comfy and durable. The only problem is that it is like a sponge and collects all the moisture in the air. I do think there is other products out there that offer similar value at the same price. If your looking for something more light weight for backpacking, I would recommend the inflatable hybern 8 from ecotek. This is much more comfy and works great with the teton xxl cot, so if weight and size are not a factor go for it.

I returned it and bought a piece of 4-in foam which was firmer and had fabric put on it for half the price at a local foam mattress store. The cover is of decent quality but the foam is much too thin and too soft. It was not $200 comfortable and offered very little support. I had it on the outfitter XXL cot which sinks like you're in a hammock. This did nothing to improve that. This is made for a cot that holds a maximum weight of 600 lbs. Many heavier people would be buying this and they made the foam so soft and thin it doesn't make sense. Of course a thicker foam would make it a little bulkier but the whole setup is bulky and I think it would have been worth it. A firmer denser foam would also have been a good idea. It's way overpriced for the thin soft foam that it is.
