Product Description MEDGEARS DUAL CHANNEL T.E.N.S. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy involves the use of low-voltage electric currents to treat pain. A small device delivers the current at or near nerves. TENS therapy blocks or changes your perception of pain. What are the benefits of a MEDGEARS DUAL CHANNEL T.E.N.S. The main advantage of using a TENS machine is that it provides pain relief. It works by sending electrical currents that travel through electrodes and into the skin. This stimulates the specific nerve pathways to produce a tingling sensation and activates a complex neuronal network to result in a reduction of pain. TENS units work by delivering small electrical impulses through electrodes that have adhesive pads to attach them to a person’s skin. TENS units may help treat the following symptoms period pain labor pain postoperative pain joint pain neck and back pain WHAT IS TENS USED FOR :- TENS may be able to help reduce pain and muscle spasms caused by a wide range of conditions including pelvic pain caused by endometriosis knee pain sports injuries It's also sometimes used as a method of pain relief during labour.
