My Dell Inspiron 3793 had a low battery that wouldn't charge. Other symptoms included: 1-worked with AC power adapter plugged into wall, but DC jack white LED did not stay lit while cord was attached and laptop was booted up. 2-Pre-boot system diagnostic test had vague error message stating contact Dell support, yet laptop warranty was expired. 3-Error messages in Windows stated battery low (down to 5% charge), plugged in but not charging. 4-Battery health tested as healthy and good. 5-AC adapter plug fell out of laptop repeatedly during use. I ordered this DC jack, a new AC adpater and a replacement battery since the vague error message didn't tell me which part I needed. I found a YouTube tutorial showing how to replace the DC jack and how to replace the battery to learn how to do it myself since it's out of warranty. The replacement AC adapter had the same symptoms as my original AC adapter, so I replaced the DC input jack using the tools included with the replacment laptop battery I also ordered. When I tested the AC adapter in the new jack, the white LED light came on and stayed fully lit! I let the latop sit for 20 minutes plugged in and boooted to check battery percentage. It had reached 37%, which is the highest battery percentage I've seen in 6 months. As an added bonus, the AC adapter fits more snugly inside this DC jack. Another huge improvement of this jack over the original is the plastic box covering the wire connections on the back of the port. The original jack had plain wires without that plastic covering. This jack seems to better protect those delicate wire connections. My laptop quickly reached 100% charge and runs like it should again. Best money spent on this DC jack!

I got this because the port on our Dell laptop was not working/charging and the plug would fall out. We have two Dell laptops and the same thing happened to the other one, but it was under warranty. Clearly this is a problem that Dell should address. Anyways, I found a YouTube video showing how to replace this. It is not difficult. The hardest part was getting the screws off the original part and I ended up stripping them. So be careful of that. Now that it’s in- it works perfectly and my laptop will now charge. An easy and inexpensive fix that someone with access to YouTube, a small screwdriver, and the most basic skills can do.

Works great on my dell laptop

This worked perfectly for my Dell 5593. The length was correct as well as position of the ends. The quality certainly seems as good as the one that I replaced. It was also easy to do since I did not have to remove the motherboard ( like on some models).

This plug is a great replacement and works perfectly. Only small complaint is the wire is a good bit longer than the OEM, so I had to curl the cable up to make it fit.

Worked well, very satisfied

The original DC jack on our laptop had been sloppy loose for quite some time, and finally died completely yesterday. We ordered this replacement yesterday and it arrived today -- it was a perfect fit, without any of the clearance problems noted by some other reviewers (different laptop model, perhaps?). The laptop is back in action and the connection when we plug the cord into the jack feels much more solid, too. A total winner!

まだ付け替えて無いけど、ジャックへの挿入は、少しざらっとした感じながら問題なさそう。 2個入りと書かれてるけど1個入りでした。
