Awesome book to introduce nonfiction
My 11-year-old was tasked with reading and reporting on a non-fiction book. She dreaded it because she thought it would be boring. While this book could be easily read by an 8 year old, she picked it and read it to me. We both loved it! It sprinkled in fun facts about Dolly that neither of us had heard and led us to want to read more and want to look up other books and movies. I dare say it has ignited a real passion for Dolly Parton in my kiddo, and she found non-fiction doesn’t have to be boring.

Showed up early and in perfect condition. My kids love this series. Easy reads and provides an informative and positive history of the title character. Highly recommend you get one based on your favourite historical figure and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
