I picked up the Tapo P110 specifically to keep tabs on my cooling costs and automate the runtime, and it's handled the high power draw exceptionally well over the past month. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 Portable A/Cs are notorious power hogs and can easily trip or melt inferior smart plugs. The P110 is rated for 13A Max and 2990W, which provides enough headroom for demanding compressors. My unit pulls a continuous heavy load, and the plug's polycarbonate housing hasn't shown a hint of overheating or thermal stress. It feels physically solid in the wall socket without any terminal sag when a heavy cable is attached. 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 The hardware is reliable, but the Tapo app is where the real utility lies. It breaks down usage into granular daily, monthly, and yearly charts.
