Benfitiamin is a precursor for vitamin B1 in white coconut oil and encapsulated in a clear jel. It's essential for activating the mitochondria. That's what I read about it and that's why I bought it. Water based vitamins B1 or thymine have a better chance of getting to individual cells in an oil-based form.

This Works
This is the fat soluble form of thiamine and is really needed if you take B1 already. Your body absorbs way more. A doctor recommended this for our daughter who has a developmental delay among other things. This has been an amazing help!
