What a great seat! Have had Church for years and this new one is as good as all the rest. I weigh 235 pounds and never had a problem with them coming off the posts. I just ordered two more. It's nice not hearing the toilet seat bang down in the guest bathroom. The slow close also keeps the cats happy.

Sturdy universal elongated toilet seat. We purchased to replace a flimsy thin plastic one that came on an all in one toilet kit we purchased at Sams. This toilet seat has soft close, which is nice, and was VERY easy to install. Just needed a pair of pliers to gently tighten the fasteners. Very clear and easy to follow instructions were included. It's very sturdy, matched a white colored toilet, and fit perfectly. There is some adjustment that can be made to accommodate the bowl (sliding the installation bracket forward and back) so it would fit most elongated bowl toilets. It fits the "all in one" toilet from Sams Club perfectly.

Easy to put on, break off tabs are nice, but feels flimsy. Seat moves like a cheap imitation, time will tell if it will last.

Well, I hate to admit it but I am fussy and have very high standards for toilet seats. This one is my favorite and we have three! It is easy to install and maintains its place on the bowl. Is is attractive with the decorative lid and whisper close that is fabulous. Last but first, it is wood and with a gentle contour. I have had nothing but trouble with plastic, molded-sculpted seats that are uncomfortable and easily split. I hightly recommend that you give this one a try!

This is a bit more complicated to install than a regular toilet seat, but not difficult. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to also install the support handrails we needed a few years ago because of a back injury. I wanted to keep the basic piece in place "just in case" but ended up thankful we didn't need to do that. The easy-lift-off wasn't explained so I figured I wouldn't worry about it, but then the seat lifted off on its own and tried to dump the user on the floor. This was because our paper holder is located on the wall that goes behind the toilet and requires a bit of leaning to reach. We'll have to move it to another bathroom where this isn't a problem. Finally, the auto close is unbelievably slow. After learning some time ago that each flush sends a fine spray of the contents into the air, we try to close the lid before pushing the lever. Having to stand there waiting for it to close is an irritation and I'm already just pushing it down instead. Hopefully if that breaks it won't stop operating manually. I would have been much better off with a regular seat.I just downgraded my ratings based on further experience. When the seat was lifted for a male user, it completely removed itself from the fasteners. Since we really weren't ready to clean it, we tried to put it back and no one was able to do this, despite managing it once before. The seat refused to cooperate. So now I've not only had to buy another seat to replace it, I've decided the only thing to do with this one is to throw it out. That makes it a rather expensive gift for the garbage.

My old Church slam proof seat had chrome plated hinges that were starting to deteriorate badly due to the moisture in the bath room. Due to the age and style of my home, there is no exhaust fan in the master bath. This new seat is just perfect, especially since the hinges are durable plastic. I'm really glad I picked the bone color because it matches the décor quite well.

I've now bought 3 of these. While expensive, they are solid, easy to install, and most importantly, quiet when you put the lid down. The attachment to the toilet is clever, allowing you to easily remove the whole seat for cleaning, yet very secure.

Tab Broke on one of the attachment points after 1 week of use. Old design which is pictured is better.
