Review: Extremely Good At Its Job - I’m having to do liquid diet leading up to a surgery, and got couple of these to use with soups and smoothies and such, after finding a a review on the WireCutter. They said these performed just as well as their recommended option, the Zojurushi, but they didn’t like the leather; I do, I think it looks cool. Anyway, these work phenomenally well. (I’m sure the Zojurushi does too, I have one of their water bottles that works great.) It’s kept soup very hot for me for up to 6 hours (the longest I’ve let it go before eating), and smoothies cold with unmelted ice still in them for up to 10 (again, the longest I’ve let it go). They’re easy to clean, the little spoon is handy if you need such a thing, they’re a good size—capacity is right at 1 3/4 cups, perfect for a liquid meal—and they look cool. What more could you ask for? (More color options, that’s what.)

I really love the look and how compact it is, and it fits a whole can of soup. So far it's kept my soup plenty warm on a couple ski trips for about 4-5 hours after sitting in a cold car. I haven't tested the timing longer than that yet. The spoon shape is just right for the container too. I found it easy to clean, and I like that you don't have to keep track of multiple plastic pieces.
