returned the first one i ordered cuz it arrived open and taped closed - i'm not using something that contacts my bloodstream without a factory seal. (btw return of first one and receipt of the replacement was the same transaction with the courier - handy) New one is perfect - arrived sealed and works great. One note to low-raters - you have to wet the tip before using it to activate the clotting reaction. There are instructions on the back of the pkg that state this. I assume most of the naysayers are too young to have watched a father or grandfather use one.

This is the best one I've used simply dampen the end and dab on the nick. This will not stop a heavy bleed though as it's only for shaving nicks. Leaves a chalky residue which can be wiped off after a minute or two. Pop the stick back in to the holder when finished I normally give mine a small rinse to get rid of the blood stain and a quick dab of tissue to dry it.. Received item very quickly and great value for the two.
