I have a ball and socket flange that is at the end of my headers, and I want to stop before and start again after it.** A: Yeah, can use stainless ties to hold the cut off section and start again **Q: Does this wrap last a long time or does it need replaced over time?** A: It becomes hard and somewhat more brittle when heated over time, but should a long time since made of volcanic rock which doesn't deteriorate easily under heat. I think I read somewhere that volcanoes get hot and the rock doesn't erode much (smiling). **Q: Is it possible to wrap headers already installed on the car ?** A: yes. see my picture. It sucks. but i have been at the car stuff for 35yrs. I had to jack the car up to zip tie the bottom headers. if you have time and patience it's not that bad. **Q: i have a bobcat with a small leak on the exhaust located inside the engine causing temp sensor to go off every15 min. will this product reduce heat?** A: Inside the engine? Appears to have fixed an overheating issue. Is not hard to install but will get fibers all over you when doing. Wear long clothing and face protection. Immediately change clothing afterward.
