The drive is super lightweight. It is sleek and the black top actually matches my laptop which was pretty cool! I love the fact that the USB cord has a place underneath the drive, so that you can keep it in while not in use and it wont get tangled or anything. It has one button so it is easy to use, pretty much plug and play. However, one of the things I did not like about this was the fact that it does not come with many instructions. It does come with a small 2 page manual however that did not help me at all. My issue was that because my laptop does not have a DVD drive, it did not come with the programs to run DVDs. Originally I thought you needed to go into your computer devices and drives area and open up the stuff on the DVD itself but it still would not play. After much searching online, and more frustration, I refused to spend another $15 to buy the windows DVD player... I found a website with a program called VLC media player.. It was free so I decided to give it a try and it worked! No all I have to do is plug in my DVD drive, put in a DVD, and open up the VLC media player and voila! I can instantly play my DVDs! Great device, compact, light, sleek, quiet, works well...
