Does it come with a battery pack or is that separate if so what kind do I need

The backpack I purchased did not come with a battery pack. I had several battery packs that can fit in your pocket already. I just use those interchangeably. Hope this helps.

What is the point of having a charging port in the bag if there is no power going to it ?

🤦🏽♂️ you connect a portable charger to it and and guess what?…. now it has power.
